Just finished my Tele kit today complete with chigsby. I wouldn't have had the balls to put a chigsby on it until I saw your video. Many thanks dude, love your playing too!
@@BrentHutchinson, great for the money. The neck is worth the money alone! I got a grinder and took out the string holes to stop extra friction. And I ground and sanded out a belly cut, for my beer belly. I also painted it turquoise and stuck a tortoise shell guard on it. The guard needed a bit of trimming and sanding to fit but I got there in the end. I might look into getting a softer spring for the chigsby its way tougher than I imagined. Overall I'm really happy
I'd say paint it, that's just my usual choice for doing a guitar. Saw a video on 6stringstanger not long ago where he started on doing hydrodip which looks like it could be really good. Oddly enough I'm working on a flat black strat atm. I'm overdue finishing it but finally getting on with it again.
Ew.. Bubblewrap. It would be great if they would realise that it's not necessary and that all of those single-use plastics are pretty disastrous.. And the individual components just need something which prevents scratching from other objects, so a little paper bag would be more than sufficient in those cases.. I'd instantly buy this kit if it weren't for the unsustainable packaging. But I can't find a proper alternative either, so I guess I'll have to settle on this one :/ Eiher way, thank you very much for the unboxing video!

Looking foward to the finish product Brent. You should try a hydro dip.

Stain it red, then cut it back and finish it with Tru Oil.
