Love the end result - nice one! Could you say a little about the stain you used? A great deep shade of blue that seems to transition to black. A link or two for the stain (or stains?) would be great!
Thanks for the nice comments, I used blue and black stains from Crimson guitars. www.crimsonguitars.com/collections/guitar-finishing/products/stunning-stains
I also plan to build the Harley Benton kit with EMG actives and ordered everything yesterday but I want to dremel out space under the pick guard for the 9V block. Shit I even ordered the fender hi mass bridge you used coincidentally. I also plan to buy a fender neck some day for the bass and maybe a fender body so I have two working instruments at the end.
Hey. I purchased it off ebay. www.ebay.com/itm/P-Bass-Precision-Pickguard-Custom-Fender-13-Hole-Guitar-Pick-Guard-Luna-Mayhem/222060964096?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
Damnn, I like the pickguard you put on that!
I found it on ebay
Very cool Wayne! Miss you buddy! Best roommate I ever had... Other than my wife!
I will take that as a compliment. I wouldn't even dream of competing with her!
Would be better if you actually showed filing and polishing of the frets! Is that Professor Peabody on the scratchplate?
I probably should have. I will have a video in that coming up. Thanks for the feedback.
Nice job !
I came here just for the YiGiOh mat
LOL. I will make sure it stays in future videos.
Great result! That PB looks amazing! Did you make any other changes since that video?
Not since the video, but I have it more dialed in. It sounds Sweet.

Happy building
Sanding is Theraputic lol. Knowing that youv turned a hunk of shit into something immense is PRICELESS.
With that camera movement I thought I was starting to get sea sick ,
But still a great video
Sorry about that, I am now working with a tripod when I can.
I love that pickguard! Where did you get it?

What kind of sanding paper did you use and how did you paint it ?
I used 3M paper ranging from 120 to 400 grit.
Looks nice but get a tripod for your camera...I’m seasick 🤢🤮
Definitely will as the channel grows. Thanks for watching
the camera work is making me dizzy. hold the thing halfway still next time
