Luke has taken the lead, whilst Mike has done excellently to claw his way back up to par.

Im guessing it because they are just genuinely wholesome and charismatic people. If you haven't already, check out the oxventure dnd series they do its light hearted and hilarious (rules nazis need not apply). and as a hard core critter and D20 fan oxventure is still the one i play on repeat over and over.

The OxBoxTra Golf Tournament has been the best “sporting event” of the summer. It’s made me want to play Mario Golf AND Real Golf (we’ll, maybe mini). You guys are great.
Every time Andy said, "These Greens..." I half-hoped he was going to break into that old Heart song. ("Go on, when I close my eyes..." etc.)

I’m so happy this tournament will be over multiple episodes. This is the 2021 Sports-ball tournament I didn’t know I needed! Maybe they can do this annually, and maybe do another tourney as an “Invitational” bringing in their other favorite games-media host people!!!!
Big fan of this tournament, the main thing is you are all having a great time and the winning can be counted as a bonus, then everyone is happy ( hopefully) good luck all involved.
I loved how closely match this was (specially with Mike's almost comeback at the end), I would gladly watch hours and hours of you playing this (or any golf game, for that matter).
I LOVE how Ellen uses a golf announcer voice when reading the chat during other people's turns.

Mike's not wrong, you do get bonus points for hitting the sandworm. Unfortunately, this is golf, and more points are worse.
Watching this for the 7th time at least. Looking forward to the next one 🥳
So as the score stand right now, with the points awarded for 1st, 2nd etc, Mike and Ellen are basically done. They can only equal 5 points by coming 1st in the next round, but then even if both Andy and Luke end up last and second last, one of them would win it with 6 points (1 more then the max Ellen and Mike can get.) So in order to be fair and give everyone a chance to still win it, you would need a double points round.
If 1st place gets 6 points, 2nd 4, 3rd 2, and last place 0, then if Ellen and Mike manage to get 1st and 2nd place, they can still win, but if either Luke or Andy get 2nd, they win. That way its not just a Luke and Andy show next round, and they cant just goof around and still win it. They would both still need to beat each other.....and Ellen and Mike, instead of just playing very badly and still take the trophy.
Just my thoughts, either way looking forward to the next video, these have been fun to watch.

Near the beginning of this video when Ellen was getting shots very close, my friend's 8 year old daughter yelled, "Ellen keeps dancing around the pole!". Kids are great.

Ideas for Luke's moves:
Peachy Keen - A drive that makes the best use of terrain (ie, when he used the secret pirate island).
Peaches and Scream - Any move that results in Luke stubbing his toe on his desk.
Peach Jam - When his ball falls in a bunker.
Peach Pie - A sweet slice.
(I forget what he called Peach Cobbler, which is why I didn't include it)
rather entertaining, Mike with that amazing shot on the 6th whole was brilliant
also Mike is you do get extra points for getting the ball in the nose of those sand creatures, the problem is you want your score to be low not high
They go through so much effort not to swear and then Mike just randomly swears and nobody notices lmao

I am going to have to side with Mike, as always. You can't expect him to show up and give a crap about the game if everyone else is so OP that he doesn't have a chance. Since this is not optional for him, and you can't expect him to work off of the clock to unlock in-game rewards, everyone should be using the gear that the person with the lowest in-game level has.
But mike unlocked and crushed.
As somebody who lives in Sandwich while the Open is happening I can say that this is much more entertaining

That was another great series.
Physics in this game seems to follow rules that are only known and understood by it (I mean, it's kinda the case for most video games but this one is no exception).
For example, a 2m/s wind in one direction sometimes change the course of the balls drastically while a 7m/s one seems to sometimes do nothing at all. Pretty difficult to work with.
Also, about Sekiro and the ability to stealth kill first phase of the Corrupted monk. It either wasn't intended by Fromsoft or they though it was too much of an advantage because they actually patched it a few months after the game came out.
You can't do it anymore (the only phase you can stealth kill now is the second...Which is fair enough considering it's the most difficult).
The Corrupted monk is not a joke boss anymore.
I love the duality of the OX team when they insist on not swearing and then say 'b*stard' on the same stream!

So happy to see chat shout the fact that if your testicle/s have twisted to go to the hospitals emergency department straight away. You have mere hours to save them! If they stop hurting while at the hospital, don't leave. I'm sorry, but it died and needs removing.

Andy did not miss the Fairway/Green off the tee this round bringing his Drive Accuracy up to .917 for the Tournament. Andy's Average Drive Distance sits at 212.8 m using only 5 Special Shots
Luke's Drive Accuracy is .833 for the tournament going 15/18 in both rounds*
Luke's Average Drive Distance sits at 216.0 m using 7 Special Shots
Ellen's Drive Accuracy is .556 also with the same accuracy in both rounds [10/18]
Ellen's Average Drive Distance is currently 216.0 m using 5 Special Shots
Mike's new set of clubs did not improve his accuracy dropping it down from a .667 [12/18] average to .611 [11/18] However the new clubs did boost his average drive distance by about 27 m bringing his average to 203 m using 7 Special Shots.
*going back through the round 1 I made an error keeping track so I may need to double check the accuracy but I'm confident that 15/18 is correct.

I played a lot of Mario Golf on the NES and then later on the N64. Man I feel old now lol.
I've been playing adventure mode. I cannot seem to get to the highest hole on Ridgerock XC course with enough shots left to complete the course. Due to all of the XP I've gained, I'm level 24 with high stats.

What I learned from this is, I don't get the rules of golf.
i wouldn't use this as assistance to learn try PGA 2K21 or The Golf Club 20 if your interested in learning the rules ⛳🏌️
Super easy. Every hole has a par which is the number of strokes, or hits, you should make it in the hole. The fewer strokes you use, the better. If you hit a water hazard, you lose a stroke(+1). Once on the green, you’re supposed to putt to the hole. Honestly, recreationally, the rules are very leniant as far as chipping on the green and hazard penalties. Scoring is odd but not difficult. 1 under par is birdie, 2 under is an eagle and 3 under is an albatross. 1 over is a bogie, 2 is a double bogie and so on. Score is cumulative for the course and the goal is par for the course, typically 70 to 90 depending on the course.
