NC Karunya is an Indian playback singer hailing from Hyderabad. He has participated in many reality singing shows and was even the runner-up of the singing reality show Indian Idol 2. Karunya has recorded number of devotional and patriotic songs for some small time music directors. He was the first south Indian singer who got popularity and success. The song "Kawa Kawa" from Monsoon Wedding made him very popular in the show.He made his playback singing debut through the song "Aane Char Aane" of 2006 popular movie - Lage raho Munnabhai. He won the Bharathamuni award for best debut playback singer. "Sada Siva" from "Khaleja" earned him Film fare award for best playback singer Telugu.

For one of Telugu Concert in US, this guy took $8000 as remuneration.
He came with out live orchestra and with Karaoke music.
Program supposed to start at 7 pm but he was no where. Whereas he was sitting in back stage and was giving an interview to one of dumb TV channels.
He Came to stage at 8 pm and sang mostly, 80% lazy hindi songs and shortened total concert duration.
In next day social gathering evening with locals, was showing his attitude as if like he won a Noble prize.
No wonder he is still at ground zero level with his proudness and attitude.
