true. Even an external emergency stair would have been a nice touch to the look of the building. And you are right, there is fire in the lego world as they produce so many fire stations...

Yes Theres an elevator. No everyone cant get on it. Result, alot of people die if that building catches fire. Plus The signs always say, use stairs in case of fire. Phenomanal building tho!

This is one of the most awesome LEGO builds that I have encountered thus far . .My compliments to this ingenious builder.
This entire building and All the interior floors actually DID blow my mind! I was amazed and impressed!
If I had a dollar for every time the interveiwer said "That's awesome!", I could afford to make something awesomer than that.

I wish lego made that a set. I would have bought it cuz it looks so detailed from the inside!
To give you an idea of how impractical that would be, I spent $125 on Ebay after losing THREE bidding wars on the Lego CITY Parisian Restaurant, which is now selling for a ridiculous $200-250. This is probably five times as many bricks. If Lego made this into an official set, it might cost around $500-700! I don't know very many people who would spend that much money on Legos.
They don't release complex sets like this because
1. Where would be the creativity of the customers?
2. They would cost so much only a few would buy them (talking about 800 dollars at least)
3. Too many legos, and even if one piece gets lost then you're fucked, big packaging is inconvenient and surely the factory would have to AT LEAST put different floors' pieces in different bags
Maybe if every floor where it’s own set it could probably work

For 7 dollars you'll probably get a set with like 50 peices, which isn't much.
Where I live a mini figure costs about 5 dollars (2.500 colones)

It still works, but you can't automatically order parts with it any more. You can, however, build something, and use that to get a list of needed parts you can buy from Pick-A-Brick. Though Pick-A-Brick doesn't have all of the parts used in Lego Digital Designer anymore.

Just one thing: It seems he glued lots of parts and minifigs - I understand why he did that but it would've been better to build it so that every part or minifig could be placed on studs.
