Hi I just build the same circuit based on the same diagram but I have a problem. I used the same components except the BD139 becouse I had only BD140 in stock. Could this be the reason that at low volume levels the amp distorts but at higher levels its playing fine? Please let me know if you have something in mind about that. Thanks
I know this vid is 2 y/old, my question is so late😂😂 I want to ask, the purpose of 0.22ohm is like fuse right? But i have lots of 0.47 and 2.2 (5w), can i replace that? Or it might change the performance?

What is the output voltage (not input or supply) of the amplifier ? Have you measured it ? Alternatively, what are output transistors or ICs used in the amplifier ? Actually I want to know output of the amplifier, so I can suggest actual wattage & ohm of the speakers.
Do not use voltage doubler circuit, once the voltage is doubled, the output current will be halved, so performance of the amplifier will be deteriorated. So it is better to use 24-0-24 V, 5 A trafo.
