I was so disapointed over my nose when I recieved La Yuqawam. I really really hope I found a signature scent. The problem was that it was my first leather scent ever and if I had known how it smelled to me, I wouldnt have bought it. But then a nice person said that a scent with a ostentatious name was milde and easier to wear. Interesting. I remember buying the caroline CH because I saw a review for it in another channel, but my gf at the time hated it and I noticed it turned people off a lot. The leather really on works if it's a cold day and you are wearing a leather jacket or by a fire imo. Not if you are out clubbing... bad idea

So glad you did this vid. I’m still filling out my leather collection. Have you tried the flanker to Dark Rebel, Dark Rebel Rider? That’s the only leather I have right now and it is amazing. Longevity is short, typical for Varvatos, but they sell kits with travel sprays too. So I just reapply at work. I love Noble Leather! I didn’t think it was still in production. Will be buying. It’s discontinued now but the Varvatos had a flanker called Dark Rebel Rider that has a dope leather jacket note. I love it. Big compliment getter and worth hunting down. Noble Leather is amazing. I like the opening of ch prive but after 2 hours it turns sour on my skin and last 4 hours ,on my shirt it smells different,not leathery I exchange it with a friend for layukawan by rasasi and am so pleased about smell,projection and lasting.

Heh, I love DR so much. Have you tried DR Rider? It is pretty good. About the same kind of scent, just with a twist of saffron and some aldehydes. Quite fresh. Where the original is like a campfire / house fire, Rider is like a greenish oak/pine fire. It is quite nice.
Hey since spring & summer are almost here, how about a review of some freashies for the nice sunny warm days, I knew I shud have got invictus aqua instead of the original & for now it's been discontinued WTF. I think that would be a good review as the season changes, winter fragrances are on hold till autumn

nice review, I am surprised you didnt compare AdP colonia leather, and what about the classic Bel Ami by Hermes?? they need t be on any list in my opinion. Also try Shuhrah from Rasasi for unrefined leather. Also Leather Blend by Davidoff has good reviews
colonia leather has the same colonia DNA in the AdP line, so its fresh citrusy with very fine leather. If you dont like the heavy sweet syrupy notes in tuscan leather then you will like colonia leather. In addition to the ones I mentioned above, there is one rare gem that you wont find easily in the US or most of Europe. Its made in Dubai by a house called Nabeel. Its from a line called Spirit of Dubai, which is their ultra niche line. Its called Meydan (horse track). It also comes in a more recent reformulation in their 2nd generation of ultra niche, this time is called (Abjar), a name of a famous racing horse. I prefer the former one. Maybe you can contact them and ask for samples for reviews, YOU WILL BE BLOWN AWAY, LITERALLY.

Tom Ford Ombre Leather is hands down the best for leather fragrance. I do have to give a special callout for the disgust I have for CH Men. It smells like grandmom’s powder. It’s not masculine at all and smells nothing like leather. I just hate it.
John Wen Dark Rebel Rider IS the MOST LEATHERY of all leather fragrances. That it's not in the showdown, and that they chose to showcase Dark Rebel instead is a crying shame!!

A lot of leather fragrances are beastly if they're scents focused mainly on the leather, especially if we're talking niche.
I have Leather essence and I really like it. And Gold Leather is just awesome...
