Timo, Pulisic, CHO are speedster..they will shine when you give them more space to run between defenders and that’s why counter attacking style is needed..or at least mid controlling with fast link between attacking and mid players..currently All players are too slow to counter, trying to dominate the ball on oppenents half, cross the ball and depends on Striker like Giroud/Tammy to tap in. This strategy is too obvious for opponents to realize and they understand Chelsea weakness very well. With this possession strategy Lampard trying to implement, it cause all the speedster players fail to utilize their talents, no space for forwards like Timo to utilize the speeds and find space, and it caused everyone to stay in opponent’s half with all opponent’s players defend tightly and cover all our forwards and link up...Chelsea will just keep passing all around the players until they make their own mistakes, normally fail pass or wrong communication, intend to pass back to deep by passing the ball from mid to back , worst back to goalkeeper, and that’s it...opponent’s counter attack make Chelsea conceded. This will continue badly for Chelsea with Lampard who just so stubborn with his delusion style and tactic.
