Ah, nostalgia indeed. While working for Peter 5+ years ago I drove this bus occasionally, including on a corporate booking to London (from Oxfordshire). It's a lovely old thing - and yes, my left leg ached for about a week after the London trip. it's easier to drive than some vehicles of this age though. The gearbox was easy (unlike the Lodekka's 5-speed Bristol box). I used to love driving this PD3 - and it's so handsome! That tall radiator and the shaped stairway window on the offside give it a real presence. Whoever buys this will, I'm sure, be delighted.
