Everyone I know wishes this Indian relay races were in Kentucky and Tennessee!!! Absolutely amazing. The dedication the work they put into this relay, the true honest care for their horses, absolutely amazing.
lifetime equestrian. grew up riding and yelling at the tv during the kentucky derby. can't wait to see indian relay in person for the first time this summer! i just wish they wouldn't hit the horses. i've heard that research shows that it doesn't actually make them go any faster.
I've seen 100s of Indian Relay Races but never with 4 horses. You have to go to the Triple Crown to get a horse race that approaches the incredible excitement of these relay races.
I just honestly do not understand whipping the horses like that! I bet each animal is beyond happy to not run! Also I would be so mad at that other racer.

I am not really into rodeo or other equestrian sports but this is a really exciting race to watch!
