Snowden looks like a very chill dude. He's very smart, knows how to crack a joke every now and then, but the thing I like about Snowden is when he does crack a joke, he's very dry about it. Like he doesn't think it's gonna be funny but he knows it is, but he also doesn't go about it like an extravert does about a joke.
quick personality analysis says that's he's an highly intelligent introvert. In general these personalities are super likeable because they can crack jokes like no one else (you need to be really smart to have the smallest hint of a comedian) but they're not waving their arms around, screaming every phrase, or gesticulating too much. He would have been a fucking great Spider-Man :D (if you can see similarities between him and Tom Holland's version of Spidey, it's no coincidence). Also Keanu Reeves.

Edward is the person who revealed one of the most important scandals of the U.S. government against their own citizens and he is treated here like the guy from the computer store, asking him questions that almost everyone should know. Good job, John Oliver.
2:40 That moment you know that John Oliver would make a perfect Muppet. Gotta say Snowden is fantastic to be able to smile while fearing for his life on a daily basis based on what he done.
What a beautiful smile he has
Now this is a REAL stable genius
lol I thought that this was actually a news interview, wasn't expecting for a great laugh.
limpbiscuit4eva is a phrase
Not really
no, it's a way of life
limpbiscuit4eva honestly didn't seem that bad.
@@Jack-Lack Oh, it's not good:

Low entropy
It's nice to see him laugh. And it's a plus at what's making him laugh. Humor's important. :)
Snowden looks like he's lost weight. Like he's been through a lot of stress.
Couldn't imagine why
+ryanspears1986 i wanna hug him and offer him a blanket and make sure he's eating and send him a care package you know what i mean?
And yet he's still funnier than John Oliver
I know I'm late to the party but, Jelly Donut, why the fuck are you watching and COMMENTING on John Oliver videos is you don't think he's funny?
Edward Snowden is our hero!
Here's another p/w suggestion "Edward Snowden has an enigmatic personality with a dazzling smile!!!"
"Now you're right, ok, I get it. I get how important it is. I fully understand that. The problem is, I'm not going to do it. Because... it seems hard, even though I know it isn't."
I relate to this.
Okay , I read an excerpt of this interview on my laptop , I hadn't logged into any of my accounts and this is recommended on my smartphone.
I didn't run any search on the phone regarding this .
What's happening??
Btw , Edward has a magnetic smile. Charming guy.
He's the hero we don't deserve .
XKCD says the same as Snowden. Pass phrases are much harder to guess than passwords. Correct horse battery staple comes to mind.
Glad someone else thought of xkcd! You are cool. Have a nice day.
"Through 20 years of effort, we've successfully trained everyone to use passwords that are hard for humans to remember, but easy for computers to guess."
xkcd.com/936/
Hal Coom Except his 4-word password is easy for computers to guess since they use dictionary attacks.
Hal Coom
Thank you, I was too lazy to look up the comic
This just shows how awesome is John Oliver, Snowden could have picked any other "real" journalist (John has said that he doesn't consider himself as a journalist) but he choosed J. Oliver, my favorite brit ever
L
You know John Oliver is good when /r/announcements links to his video.
Edward Snowden is a hero and should be canonized. Great man!!!
This man is a hero, period!
My problem is the chances of me accurately typing anything longer than 6 or 7 characters without making a mistake is extremely low.
i think this is one of the biggest reasons why people don't change their password to "safer" ones. someone smart needs to come up with an alternative way of processing/entering passwords
deym lmao
If the passphrase is composed of common words, it's harder to misstype
he went to my highschool
fun fact
Kitkatrh What high school do you go to?
Kitkatrh how was he?
I need teachers there or people in the neighborhood who remember what he was like that can give us some insight or tell an anecdote about him ?
A lot of people would really know some personal stories about him and what he's really like
If you could stop randomly censoring videos in other countries HBO, that would be great.
We gave you that awesome Englishmen, you could at least let us watch him...
I was surprised in my recent UK trip that I couldn't watch most of new LWT videos, because here in Serbia they are all available and I'm so thankful for it (because our IP usually doesn't get us much access)
Probably Jack There is a widget called hola that lets you change your ip so your internet thinks you are in a different country.
The funny thing is that in Germany, the world champion of youtube blockage, we can watch this. Probably because there is no music in these videos.
Get ProxTube for firefox and no more youtube blocking.
Andreas Holzer Pretty sure China is the world champion of youtube blockage
This video is a perfect representation of every conversation I've ever had with clients regarding their passwords, including ending with me saying "you're killing me" :)
Hilarous!! Yet they make such good points!
2:33 too close to home
This may be the most widely applicable statement ever made by a human being.
I really, really hope that Obama redeems himself by pardoning this amazing man.He is saving us from ourselves, and most people aren't even grateful.
420 YOLO
lmao
420 YOLO
John Oliver being John Oliver hahaha... Comedy and joke and mock with a straight face! I love it. Snowden caught the air of it so he started smiling LOL
Snowden should do a weekly podcast.
then they'll track him even more... predictability kills..
My password is "incorrect". Whenever I try to log in somewhere and misstype it will tell me "Your password is incorrect."
*Harvard wants to know: Your position *
Yeaaah 5 years later
