We use nvidia geforce graphics cards they do a utility called "Geforce Experience". It keeps your graphics driver up to date but it also provides a thing called "Shadow Play" which records your screen, you can then stream live or record locally with webcam overlay and microphone if you wish.
Thanks for the feedback. I am using Windows 7. I am trying this free one called Flashback Express, but noticed it slows down performance when recording and makes the final product really choppy. I will keep looking. Hoping to find a free version that works.
I personally used OBS Studio and it works very well and it's totally free. Just watch a quick tutorial on UA-cam and you'll get the hang of it. Do note that your performance might take a hit if you're recording your screen while playing on a low-end computer (except if you're using a capture card). Hope this helps! :)
can you provide the steps to follow on exactly how you are recording and publishing on UA-cam. I cannot find where I need to go to start recording.

If you are on windows 10 you can record anything happening on the screen.
