I have come back to practice and have found brother Dungs teachings very helpful also , I’m so greatful to be able to learn and practice from such deep wells of gentle wisdom and teachings
After almost 70 years of searching, so grateful to find a true teacher who shares Buddha's true teachings in a way that is applicable in present times. Jini from Vancouver ,BC, Canada.
Are we old ones not truly blessed to have found this teaching before it is too late Now I know it is never too late Thank Dear Teacher Dear Sanga and all at the very special Plumvillag
I’m watching this with two fractured arms and from the moment I broke them my mantra has been my bones and body are healing in miraculous ways ! I tell my arms how much I love them , as they saved me from landing face first onto a road .... the gratitude I have for my body is immense ... our capacity to heal both physically and emotionally is incredible ... I’ve accepted the situation and have surrendered into the process and I’ve found deep happiness and peace .... this hasn’t been a ‘bad’ experience .... it’s given me the time to dive deep within and pause !
@Questioneverything8888 I did the opposite…I have no balance and had a bad fall and face planted on the road breaking my nose and bad concussion, which led to brain injury of the pituitary gland…2 days before my beautiful Mumma passed away.🙏
As a lay person operating in very challenging situations, I have become devoted to Thay, my teacher. I take delight and comfort in this dharma talk, and am listening as I often do, while I commute to work. Thank you Plum Village. I wish I had a the benefit of others along the way, but you all will have to be my virtual sangha. 🙏☮️❤️
Coughing is part of the process of healing. Thay says in this talk that many people come to Plum Village for healing. When we hear coughing it is like the bell reminding us to celebrate the presence of healing.
Thay is a true master, a genius, an Angel, a ver special human being. He is authentic, kind, compassionate , humble. You should live forever. Thanks for all your help and support dear Thay
Have listen to healing now the third time by dear Thay. I listen to Thay more or less every day ❤️. He gives me strength and less pain. I am Catholic since 17 years. Before Lutheran and now since I started to listen and reading more and more mindfulness and Zen. I’m so extremely great full to be in contact with Plum Village and Thay. Still sad that I didn’t do it earlier. Must try/learn to live here and now in particular for my health problems that worries my a lot. Bless you all Monks and Nuns at Plum Village and Holy Spirit that took me here. If I get well and get my strength back I will come to Plum Village. Thanks dear Thich Nath Hanh ❤
Today is 24 Jan 2022, I come here to enjoy your teachings again .Dear Thay,a lot of people still suffer of losing the chances like this . But just listening to your voice is also a kind of healing!
Thay you are so wonderful and beautiful. Sometimes you are like a sun shinning and sometimes you are like a mountain and sometimes like a flower and sometimes like a lamp guiding me to find peace in every step. You have all my love like I love my children unconditionally and respect and admiration I have for my parent. Thank you beautiful sangha of plum village for continuing Thay. ❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏
This was posted on my birthday in 2013. Thank you! Healing IS possible at any time. Though it doesn’t mean it’s instantly done. Keep steady with daily practices. You are so worth it!!! 🙏🏽💗🙏🏽
you may feel suffering all day. but with all that weighing down your mind and body all you need to do is rest. before you do anything, first be still and let your body heal. move your body slowly when possible. and creat and enjoy a moment where you are not thinking about your pain, you are not provoking it, you are not imprisoned in it or your body, it is temporary. our bodys suffering is a quaking mess. but you are pure bliss when you remove the suffering.
I just found you Thich Nhat Hanh and I am grateful for you. In the past I focused on myself, my career, my son and worldly possessions until I unintentionally became my mother's sole nursemaid caring for her around the clock as she suffered from Alzheimer. When she passed away, after a few years I recognized the change in me. What I thought was most important pales in comparison. I instinctively feel and express more compassion and empathy for others. And, when that happens I feel a sense of inner healing, peace and enlightenment. I know from personal experience that your compassionate teaching is true, honest and pure. I will pray for your health and healing. Thank you for sharing your light of wisdom.
Who are you and what is the meaning of life? Two questions that I constantly ask myself. The first question as I understand emptiness that there is no such thing as self meaning nothing exists by itself within itself that there is no such thing as independent as we are hopeless interdependant and interconnected. So like the Holy Bible states and the purpose of a Buddha is to help sentient beings from suffering and the Holy Bible teaches Us that we're our brothers keeper. So the meaning of life is to do God's divine will. That's what I figure so far. This is all . . .
Yes we are human beings not human runnings 😍. It is natural for us to just be and the awakening is the end of suffering. Because the suffering becomes your best friend when you realize it was you who put the label on it that it is bad or unpleasant. Only mind taking over there. You can sit and feel pain and have a empty head. And the pain is no longer pain but just something the body feels and you can find emotions raising and you watch the emotions as awareness. And you don’t try to make it go away. And it will go away. I loved this video, same what Eckhart Tolle is teaching, all teachers so needed in this planet. And all of us awakening to our true nature. Suffering can be such an great tool for being to awaken so when the suffering comes thank it even if you don’t know yet what it has to offer to you ❤️❤️
This is the most wonderful and priceless teaching from the most wonderful of all teachers There is nothing in the world more precious Thank you Dear Thay and Sanga
I have never heard such illness in one Dharma talk. It honestly felt sinister. You can ignore it, but so desrespectul for Thay's health. This almost feels like The Truman Show. Like it was deliberate suffering act. No matter, Thay is a wonderful teacher. He is missed. Im so grateful to have seen him speak in Vancouver. 🙏
Me and my friend are watching this video from phisicaly different places just now. My friend needs all positive energy which can get just now. He really needs attention of as much human beings as posible in this moment. Thanks in advance
Thank you dear Thay, I am grateful to be able to follow you here on youtube,I cannot travel to plum village, but always feel close to you all,and I have learned a lot about the art of suffering....and feel complete now.....
I never heard such simple, straightforward yet profoundly helpful words as in this video. I once attended a Buddhist meeting and didn't much like it. Walking home at night, there was a full moon. I 'saw' with apparently inner vision, very large snowflakes slowly descending. At the same time I became conscious of something I can only describe as 'cosmic compassion'. It was compassion but not as we know it, and indescribable in human terms. I thought of the words by Shakespeare: "The quality of mercy is not strained, It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven . . . . " Thank you, Plum Village.
Thank you Thay for your teaching. Thank God to send you to this earth in order to guide us to the true path of happiness, lessen our suffering and healing our deepest wounds.
Thank you Thich Nhat Hanh! I seek no teachers but I am truly grateful you on in this world and I've been able to find you. Bless you and please keep on your path.
last night i had the thought "you can change your destiny", it offered me instant pause in my suffering and the possibility to steer my life to get in a happier state.
i usually couldnt finish much shorter videos with full focus.. here i watched 45 minutes in calm and joy, like its the most interesting movie in theatre :)) top skillz here! i wish everyone can enjoy this.
Yes - it is a " internal " talk to get ready for people who will come for retreat to their village. Its actualy very nice point of view - its not official statement and its so honest to do their best for those people. It is so nice
Thankyou Thich Nhat Hanh with Plum Village and everyone who helps you for your wonderful and very important work for peace and for helping humans, animals and nature.

Nice Bob👍
I always found it disturbing (suffering from misophonia), thanks for sharing, I’ll look at it differently now
that's all fine and dandy, but coughing can be a major vector for the infection of the nearby people with air-borne viruses.
THANK YOU so much for your wisdom and understanding It is very helpful 😊
You mad bro?
Thay is a true master, a genius, an Angel, a ver special human being.

Listening to Thich Nhat Hanh saying to stop... it is just what I have done this week. Stop doing, stop reading, start just being.
His sweet, kind voice and the pure joy within his words act like a forgiving patina, every murmur, cough and shuffle become part of this symphony.
Agree fully with you ❤
“Every feeling is a child”
Pulled my attention, thank you thay
