It must have been 20 years since I went to Truckfest as a kid, one if the biggest (non Hot Rod) shows we use to regularly attend! Does bring back some good memories.

Great coverage, I'm a bit of a Mercedes guy and absolutely loved the 1622 and I would take the 1851 over the modern Actros I'm driving right now any day.

I'm a driver from the US, and I like to see the US trucks elsewhere in the world... but I must say that I think it's a shame that there are no longer any trucks built in the U.K. anymore. Any of those old trucks, weather US made, British made or European made, will haul any of those new, high tech trucks with computers and DEF to the trash heap.
Great video, I like all trucks, but my favorites are the old ones, like the Mercedes, the ERF, and Foden. Can you more on the older trucks, we here in the US don't get to see what you guys have. Another I got a glimpse of a Tatra Truck, can you try to do a video on a Tatra, these trucks are very innovative and rarely does one is seen. Have a good day

Great video Stavros and I have now seen inside more cabs than I did when I was there. Drove Scammels AECs, Fodens back in 1972 and they felt big at the time but compared to todays trucks they were as big as vans. Guessing with your sign on name your a fan of Steve Parish ex motorcycle & truck racer. Definitely got another subscriber now.

Regarding Volvo FH, if you drive in hilly country the dual clutch gearbox will be worth it - it can save quite some time while driving.
For the Renault Sport Racing - you have to look at the startup screen in the instrument cluster too!
There was over 3000 truck there this year man fingers crossed I'll be there next year in my own truck ( if the boss lets me ) Haha

I do like the cab,over wish we could have them in the USA . Most of are drives go 3000 miles a week we need more room ..

The big sunroof on the new FH is so it can be used as an escape hatch in the event of the truck crashing on its side
Did you see the two b series erfs , an erf c , a erf ec11 and a foden alpha which was area there too
If you look at the American Truck it has a different manual transmission European one it's a road ranger non synchronized transmission unlike a standard European truck which has a synchronized manual transmission. You can find the American transmission on a Finnish Sisu lorry

for one those american trucks were too clean for words.
one thing made me laugh, the volvo vnl at 6:50, the left side stack is just for show, not connected to the engine!
The Renault T high shares the same basic cab as the Volvo FH but is taller, don't know why Volvo don't do the taller one!
