What a wonderful testimony, could instantly relate as I too come form a Hindu background and my search and quench led me to Jesus at the age of 14. Jesus has been my saviour and I cannot thank Him enough for searching me and revealing himself to me. Today by his grace my entire household has come to know his loving grace. In the early 1970s, my family went to a church with an excellent Indian pastor. He told the story that a Christian missionary came to his city and approached the Hindu priest, saying he wanted to understand more about the Hindu religion. The priest was gracious and they began meeting. Out of courtesy, the priest asked questions of the missionary. The end result was that the priest gave his life to Jesus Christ, and our pastor was that priest. I found out later that our pastor was very highly respected in India. People thought I was highly blessed to have had him as a pastor, and I agreed.

I am ex-Hare Krishna and spent all my school holidays staying in the temple for 4 years, waking up early in the morning for the 4.30am aarthi and so on. I wanted to become a full time devotee but things happened and now I am a Christian. Thank Jesus from saving me and life is more meaningful now.

@@stanvsam Sorry brother, I am just reading your request. Nothing much to say about my old life in the Hare Krishnas but one thing to note is that chanting and dancing ain't gonna get you anywhere. Even if you do all the good works or being nice and sweet to everyone ain't gonna get you anywhere as the Bible clearly states that our righteousness are like filthy rags. Only way to Heaven is through our Lord Jesus Christ. This is the most important and only thing anyone needs to know. Hope my message meets you well, brother.

I am listening your story three. Four times reason is went through same all experience with all guru not one so many . No moral just controlling issues.too much egotistical no moral . But Lord Jesus always watching me and always come to me even though I used to go trample never felt peace. When I go to church I am totally in peace. I left everything I reborn again. Christianity has nothing of their own. Everything is stolen from other religions and destroyed those beautiful spirituality that realize the god rather than just believing.

It's very clear that none of his habits are good enough to be Hindu priest.
Hinduism is about Spirituality and about practising self realisation and experiencing god inside.
If you compare spirituality of Hinduism and Christianity, Hinduism is like Ph.D and Christianity is like LKG.
No one would like to go from PhD to LKG.
So his talks are clear, he could have been Indian origin but never practiced Hinduism.
and confidently he would not even know what a Hindu Priest is.
This clearly a paid agenda to convert.
Hinduism never say it is the only way. So even if one prays Jesus it is acceptable, but unfairly spreading hate can only be through Paid Marketing.
Missionaries sell Jesus. Infact they loot and persecute in the name of Jesus.
If Jesus would have been there, he would have shut down all Missionaries.

wow, what a presentation of his life. yes there is a God and HE is Jesus Christ and HE wants a personal relationship with every one and there is a Heaven, only HE can take us there.
What a beautiful testimony. God is so good his ways are so wonderful. To take this man so deep into a religious system and than to bring him back out to such a beautiful relationship with jesus. Thank you so much for sharing you testimony. As a child I I was raised in a Christian church with wonderful people but it did have some very cult like aspects to it . At 71 I am still healing and learning how to feel God/Jesus love for me. It has been a journey for me too. Your testimony really resonated with my heart.

Always be careful when you hear flattery directed at you. Yes PRIDE, that's the "hook". Someone wants to control you eventually. I'm glad Christ chose you. (you brobably thought I would say that you found Christ, but it's the other way around). Read Paul's letter to the Galatians, Christ has done it all for you. Just "grow in grace and the knowledge of Christ".

I listened many times to this testimony, I wonder how God make a way for a hindu priest, and here I am borne to a Christian family and still can't feel the presence of God in my life
I have wondered the same too. But I think we Christians take everything for granted and never really "seek" or "thirst" that's why we don't have such experiences but God does make His presence known in a subtle way 😊 God bless!!

Thanks. i roamed all the religious places in india. Stayed many ashrams. But the more the visit these places the more frustration. Becoz when we go deep into that the truth starts to reveal itself and it would be utterly opposite to what we understand in surface.

Brother Rahil, you are a babe in Christ, you have been carried along by His wonderful peace and boundless love. But He came with a specific message. He was born into a specific community that God the Father had prepared for His incarnation. When He came into His ministry He spent three long years carefully training the apostles with that specific message for the world and before He ascended to be with the Father He told the apostles to share that message. Now you have a wonderful road ahead, you can immerse yourself in God's Word and allow Him to guide you. Satan will attempt to deceive you but if you trust the Bible and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you through God's Word the path will be clear. I had a similar experience to you 50 years ago so I hope you can in some small way benefit from these words from a sister who has walked the path just a little ahead of you. 1 Cor 3:10 tells us that everyone should be careful how they build on the foundations that were laid down when we accepted Jesus as Lord. May our dear Lord Jesus bless and guide you and use you to share His Truth until He comes.

A story:
One sheep was in one fence. It wanted to be free so it jumped the fence. It thought that now it is free. But truth was the was within another fence. It was not free.
To have great realisation , freedom come of all cults. Make direct contact with the GoD without any intermediate - middle man person. Break all fences and be a free person. God is very kind he does not differentate for any belief or nonbelief. Sun-Moon-rain wind go everywhere God benefit everybody.

"Having moved away from 'anaik bhagvan' (many gods of Hinduism) to 'teen bhagvan' (three gods - the Christian Trinity), it is about time to move on to 'One God' (the monotheistic Deity Allah of Islam).

There z no three God in christianity..its only one God He who came to earth for the salvation of the human. Coz a pure, sinless blood had to be shed on the earth for the human salvation.

Even a child understands that three gods, independent of each other, having different, separate, distinct personalities does not mean 'One God'. I am amazed as to how people, blinded by faith, believe in a totally illogical, irrational concept of the Triune God, formed by the Trinity.
Just like the Hindus have been blinded by Faith, worshipping multitude of deities, so do the Trinity believing Christians. Converting from Hinduism to Christianity is tantamount to travelling only half the way to Truth; to complete the journey to the Truth, travel farther ahead until you find one Pure, no-nonsensical Monotheistic God, Allah.
