Wow what amazing information, keep up the great work, my father has a very successful commercial and residential cleaning business in the Bay Area in CA and my husband wants to get into the business in SoCal and the first thing my father said is go on UA-cam watch all the videos you can find and then we talk, what great information you have for starters. We have both subscribed!
Another Awesome video Ive owned a cleaning business since 2017 I use google ads, facebook ads ,411 locals, clean biz network leads, and good old fashion door2door
Bro - the question we’re looking to get answered is: How do you find commercial bids and commercial bids on a ‘consistent’ basis? Do you have any info on that?
Hey Jason, that's a big question and really depends on your target niche. I would highly recommend checking out the on demand masterclass at www.growmycleaningcompany.com and then . scheduling a breakthrough call with one of our amazing coaches to deep dive into your business, what's working, what's not, where you want to be and create a plan to get there!
Class Video. lots of people and sales skills here. Techniques like SPIN and the APPROACH do well for all. Clear your mind of negative thoughts and do. you will see.
Wish I had this type of info and training 25 years ago when I first started doing sales. This is super simple, but takes confidence and knowing what types of clients you want and which ones you don't want. For those that are trying to sell every deal, probably not a good fit.
Fantastic opening video , I am delighted to see the rich content. Though I am new to sales side, your video is super smart in making us all to fall in line of success. Thank you
True you gots to qualify your customers to see if they have the Benjamins, or if they are a cheap looky looky. You gots no idea how many times i drove to give an estimated to have have them tell me, Ganzo or Boris or Pedro is twice as cheap. Me " WHAT!!!?"
Hey Mixin Green- great question. It really depends on your specific target market. I have a bunch of free videos that can give you some solid ideas- ua-cam.com/play/PLREqv8ptf12TVUdwFkUVyvmHhMxEE6wmB.html
I have 40 years in the business. I get all of my jobs in person.. Cold calling is a waste of time. Yes you may get some jobs but being able to first look at the location, create a plan and find out who you need to talk too. I went after very high end companies who are willing to pay for a really good job. I worked for the owner of the Boston Red Sox,The largest Hedge Fund in the world and many other financial institutions.
@@stevensassano1357 Thanks for your input. It sounds like going in person with a game plan is the best way to get a bid in. But with this virus going around I might get hosed down before they let me in the door.
I really appreciate these tips however, it only addressed how to handle INCOMING traffic through a website or conference(word of mouth). What about being the initiator ? besides SEO how can I drive traffic to my website? I conduct a lot of cold calls and emails i'm pounding the pavements with my company information. What else helps?
Hey Karen- we have a TON of content about how to get customers who know like and trust you to come to you :) There are a couple of playlists on this channel that will cover that and you can go to www.growmycleaningcompany.com for everything we have :)
I started a cleaning company about a year ago with out a franchises and I bought all my equipment and paper work I need. I was wondering how do you conduct a walk-through and get the measurement. I know how to write up my bid/proposal but don't know if I ask them for the measurement or if I measure it myself. If you can help me I would really appreciate it
+09mdh45able Great question! I ALWAYS measure EVERYTHING myself! This will not only make you look more professional, but you will have all the measurements you need in case they want to add services later :)
Hi, i want to start a Cleaning company in Belgium, but there are a lot, there is many competition, how can i make clients the fast way? Plz a few easy to understand tactics from you
I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else is searching for cleaning business franchise try Pycanta Office Cleaning Protocol (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my neighbor got great results with it.

Hey Mark, not sure what you mean by "cleaning bidding websites", but I would encourage you to build relationships with your target market and not depend on "websites" for whatever it's worth :)
Hey Ken, for larger commercial bids, there are often multiple buildings, floorwork and carpet care with hundreds of thousands of square feet often with supply needs. These can take days or weeks to properly prepare :)
Great question Victor- I started with a franchise and it depends a lot on the franchise and your personal ability to create systems and attract customers on your own- they aren't cheap, but if you can't do those two things, they can save you a TON of money and time- I have a video coming out where I feature one of the owners of Two Maids and a Mop where we dive deep into that question- make sure to check it out :)
Hey Victor, here is the link to the podcast with the owner of Two Maids and a Mop I mentioned earlier- www.growmycleaningcompany.com/cleaning-company-franchise/
I started with a franchise also also. Gets the ball rolling, clears destructions and focuses you on a structured goals. The money was for the hardcore army training you need to think and be the business person you need to become. Oh with added benefits of course.
Hey Cody- the process is the same, when you call them, you want to see if they have pain and if they DO have pain and want your help solving it, you set the same ground rules as if they called you. If they don't have pain, or don't want your help, move on :)

Exactly !
This guy can speak whole day believe me 😁😁
I built my company on cold calling but if I was starting over today I would market to commercial property managers. They’re a one stop shop.
@@CleanThingsSolutions that’s a great idea sir
But what’s the best way to approach property managers so that they give us some cleaning contracts

Great video! I'm not clear on one thing. When doing commercial cleaning, who provides the contract, the customer or the cleaning business owner?
The cleaning business owner does.
You the cleaning company have to make up the contract of what you discussed
