The corrosion resistance is a selling point all by itself, let alone the lubrication it provides. I've used Hoppes in the past and have been using Shooter Lube recently but I have bought a couple bottles of this product.
@@joshuawarner1534 Clenzoil is much easier being a one step product. Shooter Lube works well enough but I'll be sticking with CLPs in the future. @@1977Yakko yes I also have some clenzoil products and love them have also done my research on them love that a ww2 vet came up with this after tragic gun jamming occurred to some of his battle buddies and made a fantastic product I personally love how clp’s clean and protect but I like to also lube and oil up my gun after cleaning even with using clp clenzoil. Was just curious on how they each paired up will def be willing to try both of them.
Since people can make their own gun cleaner and lubricant. Clenzoil and other gun cleaning products aren't worth it. Like Hoppe's No. 9 Solvent, it's mainly kerosene base, ammonia with banana oil and ammonia and alcohol. All these companies are doing are repacking common hardware store items like? Paint thinner, mineral oil and mineral spirts for example. All they do is add coloring to the products. There are others that are vegetable base, that one can make as well.

Which do you prefer more so this product or shooters ? I’ve used this in soaked wipes works awesome but haven’t used shooters lube and cleaner yet .

I just keep the tail of my boresnakes damp with clenzoil
