  • For those who aren’t aware, Puggy Smalls, our 9-year-old boy is a disabled Pug. Whilst Puggy is at the early stages of his golden years, he has a painless, incurable spinal disorder. Puggy spends an hour or so a day in his doggy wheelchair, but we do all we can to help keep him strong, mobile, and enriched, which is where LOONAWELL became our secret weapon!
We have been using the LOONAWELL sardine pate to motivate puggy on walks and as a reward during his physiotherapy sessions, but ever since we added the baked salmon delights into the mix, Puggy is unstoppable and I love that we have found a snack that he enjoys so much, with so many incredible benefits for his joints, and cognitive health.
They are the perfect high-quality reward for all his enrichment toys. Whether he’s snuffling, crumbled into a lick mat, or stuffed into a treat ball, these treats are excellent as they smell as good as they taste, encouraging Puggy to push himself and excel in his physiotherapy. As a very special reward, we also squeeze a small amount of the sardine pate onto a baked treat, and he loses his mind every time!
