Great stuff as usual, what with work and childcare I live vicariously through your videos! Can't wait to get some time to buy and play 25. Have a great Christmas!
The parts where the fertilizer didn't go correctly is damage from hail. You will need to plow to get rid of them. It won't plant there as well so you will lose yield
You never know what you have until you lose it 😢 missing the daily videos come bacckkkkk 😂 holidays are almost over thank god 😂😂😂😂 kidding man hope you enjoying wit family!
Those spots that didnt get fertilized is from the hail damage. In the last update they were supposed to fix the bug to where you can use cultivator to fix them but any spots before that last update you have to plow it to make disappear. So you will have to plow those spots this time but all future new hail damages is supposed to be cultivatable or direct drillable. And when you buy new fields that has the damage you will most likely have to plow too. But your future new playthrough is supposed to be good
And for the fertilizer you can do double application in one month if they are different kinds like solid and liquid. Or solid manure then slurry. But solid and solid you have to wait one month in between. So i personally spray liquid fertilizer or slurry then i plow or cultivate and lastly plant/do the solid fertilizer with planter. Or if i dont wanna use liquid i plant/ solid fertilizer one month then the next month i spread more solid
there is a lizard pickup mod that will pickup silage like forage harvestor. it actually picks up about everything so you can use it instead of a forage wagon. ive been loving using it
Yeah so the thought behind the way fertilizer works is the way you did it, you are just moving top soil around which isnt really affecting the layer of dirt where the fertilizer is applied. The difference between that and fertilizing and then doing something else and then planting is you are pulling the lower layers of dirt up to the top and burying the dirt that has the fertilizer applied. Also, the reason you can apply fertilizer after 1 month of planting is because "technically" after 1 month irl you wouldnt WANT to fertilize AGAIN but you COULD and it wouldnt cause a ton of problems, as the plants that are growing have absorbed some of the nutrients from the first layer of fertilizer so when you apply the second it is not dumping tons of fertilizer over stuff that hasnt even been absorbed yet. Also as far as I can remember this is the way fertilizer in fs22 base game worked, i only remember that because thats where I started my fertilization habits that ive carried into 25
@@FarmingSimSWU hahaha I didn't even think about the "lender" part... Chik-Fil-A sells a Cowlendar annually, and I used to get my mom one for Christmas every year before she retired. Each month had a different cow and a coupon for something or other.
Seen you use the telehandler reminds me.... I believe I saw videos on fs22 of people mining gold. Was that a mod or in game? And what do you think the chances are of that coming to fs25? Sounds interesting. Thank you for the christmas video and merry christmas.
i realize its a game i also dont really care but we normally store our equipment full of fuel to help prevent condensation build up adding water to the tank

Merry Christmas to my favorite youtuber. I hope you and your family have a great holiday
@@tomblack6920 merry Christmas!!!! Same to you!!!
No need to worry about fuel right now. Next harvest forgets about the fuel and runs out.
Merry Christmas all.

@@Luwuci I think precision farming broke me.
Talking about your plans for "next year" makes me think you're going to need a new COW-lendar. 🐮🐄
Is that like new calendar, cows, and lender?

@@tomblack6920 was pissed. lol. Merry Christmas!
How can i see my dirt percentage!!
In real farming actually you can do lime and phosphate before planting, then you do 1 NPK aplication when seeding and others when the crop is growing

mining was a mod on FS22
@josieaw123 thank you for the info. I kind of thought so. Looked interesting.
The base game dosent have a automatic Bale wagon?
@@robertdrake9991 it does. I believe it has a round and a square one.

@@zacharykallinen9838 that’s good to know. Do you have a large full tank on site to fill them up before storing?
@@zacharykallinen9838 also. My plan was for it to run out and have to rescue it for the content. That didn’t happen yet lol.
26 mph cultivating is WILD ……. I do it all the time
Does it cause a yield penalty? Is there a penalty with harvesting that way?
I don’t think there is any yield penalty. I have been wanting to run a test on 25 to validate it’s the same as 22.
@@FarmingSimSWU should test it in an upcoming bakers man episode 👀
After harvest fertilize THEN cultivate
Combine the 2 fields next to each other but don’t combine all the fields together pleasessssss
@@TeakeilaPOV that’s where I’m leaning as well. I think we still need more then just one big field.
