Cheongs fish tank quest now can be completed without weekly. I did the questline in one sitting in about 3 hours, there are two questlines to complete. I will add, best quest content in game so far, enjoyed the story and challenges. Also, you dont have to empty into main inventory any more when trading in. I think you can teleport fine now too with fish in tank. Also, there is an additional fish tank in pearl store you can purchase and then combine with cheongs to double storage. Otherwise imho this guide is still good to go! Excellent guide as always, thank you Teddy! Bonus note, Pearl rewards you for exploring the world. I experimented all around with afk fishing and found a little land-based hotspot, I average $350 million and 30 bottles and 15 shard things per 24hrs and literally log into game only 10 minutes total per day. Fish on!
Pretty sure that's not what chance to catch big fish means. What I've heard from other fishers is big fish means blue grade, rare fish means yellow grade and prize fish means red grade.
Shame the (red Grade) mythical fish is in the Big Fish Table even though its a "prize" fish and yeah the Fish guide is only for getting all the fish (I'm at 88% of all fish found)
I prefer to use the blue grade if im out in margoria to get yo OE then I sail to near altinova to get the Arch map to let me teleport to ancando to get to Valencia quicker
Mastery Clothes for fishing is strange, wearing full manos accessories without Fishing Clothes gave me 1220 Mastery which is 3.0% Prize Fish Catch Rate BUT wearing the Clothes bumped it to 1520 BUT only increased the Catch rate to 3.8% soooooo do with it whatcha will. Because the Fishing Boat is slower than the Cog which can go at 140% Speed, can be bought using loyalty, and can use the Breezy Sail skill (even with the totem the skill makes the cog faster).
@@TeddyTwighlite thx Teddy! I use my main for fishing to regen energy while afk, so I would have to go out there every time. But I might do it sometimes
what lifeskill would you suggest to a new player for making money? it takes alot of time so i can´t just go for all :(. i think about fishing / horse training or hunting. what would you say ?
Gathering, Hunting, and Fishing during events make some nice money but they all can if you choose to make the recipes that make money instead of losing it or doing the activity that is in demand.

I never used the bait for big fish, cause i thought it just means the actual size of the fish thats listed in the fishing book.
From all sources I’ve found, big is blue fish, rare is yellow. Prize is prize
what about using the archeologists map and travelers map in conjunction to afk fish in the middle of the ocean?

Yes it's a permanent weekly over the course of a month (4 weeklies total) and can be obtained

Stick to tooth fairy cabin or the event areas so you can afk

it changes the combo. Not sure if it makes a combo so just the +3% Fishing Exp
