8:20 Just bought a 2024 rancher and was adding coolant and now the radiator cap lid wont snap back into the hole feel like im gonna break it you have any issues with that? looks like yours was loose fitted aswell
Flip the lid upside down. There is a certain way the lid will go on. You can tell by the two flaps. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for your posts. We have a honda rancher like this one that is shifting gears on its own. When it goes to the 4th gear it will kick into 5. Is this a clutch problem? Thank you for your help.
Is the machine throwing any codes? If not I would definitely check my clutch and shifting forks. Hope this helps you out and thanks for watching. Be sure to like and subscribe!!
Thanks good and simple.

I have the same atv for mudding how often should I check the oil and everything you showed here this is my first atv
Hi and thanks for watching. Always check your oil levels before riding. Change your oil every 100 hrs of ride time. Hope this helps. Be sure to like and subscribe to our channel.
Did you use 10-30 or 10-40 engine oil
everything I use is listed in the description
2024 rancher sra foot shift. Only 46 hours on machine. Was playing a little yesterday. Got in a bind and engaged 4wd. Started making a grinding noise then popped a few times. Got it out. Popped a few more times. Disengaged, popping stopped. Engaged with no bind or being stuck. No grinding or popping. What could be the cause? Only have 26 in mud lites on 12 in rim.
Could be an axle. Check all four of them. If the noise comes back we will go from there. Thanks for watching.
12:35 "and you'll just feel it all pop into place". When the reality is that you'll spend half an hour and some choice curse words trying to get all the plastic pins and tabs to line up and pop back together. 😆
LOL, thanks for watching!!
my 2016 rancher does not have the same oil filter design that you took off. Could your dates be wrong (2014-2016) or do I have the wrong filter?
For this model which has a sra straight rear axle needs oil filter shown in video however if you have the irs independent rear suspension you need a different oil filter.
Love the video man and thanks for the links! I do have another question about 2014 foreman’s. Mine surges in lower rpm’s in 3rd for some reason. Only in 3rd, not any other gear in low rpm’s. Any idea what’s causing it?
I would clean the carburetor first. If it’s fuel injected then do a fuel pressure test on the fuel pump.

Thank you for a great Video! I have a 2014 and going to start doing this myself. I only have about 650 miles on mine.
Glad to help!! Thanks for watching and be sure to like and subscribe to our channel.
How do you know when to change the filter?
You change the oil filter every time you change the oil. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
Hey man my 2022 with the dct has the much larger filter and it is completely the opposite way with oring on inside and spring between filter and cover??
No I'm second guessing myself you care to respond to this?
This video covers the 14-16 models.
Thanks
When a motorcycle gets too hot you have to change the antifreeze
Running hot could be low fluid, bad thermostat or water pump. Thanks for watching.
Thanks ❤John 3,16 ❤
