- This is how I make my reusable sticker books. Much of this video is sped up. When I filmed it the finished video was over an hour long. My best advice is take your time, follow the steps, and then enjoy.
Supplies used:
Bone Folder
Wax Paper - about $3 at Walmart
Tomoe River Paper - www.amazon.com...
Sewing Needle and Thread
Thick Cardstock
Trimmer or Exacto Knife
Washi Tape
Double sided tape (or a glue stick)
Stickers to add to your book
Honorable Mentions: bensound.com
This is the best video I have seen in creating a sticker book. Thank you.
You could use binder clips to make the sewing process way easier and keep things from sliding around quite so much.
Or use pins in the sewing holes to keep them aligned until you get to them
I really like how you did this. To me it looks professional.
The patience.... I could never
Is tgeee a reason you couldn’t use alligator clips on all the edges and punch all the sheets at once? In a lazy short cut crafter (often it shows)
I just ordered the paper through your link. I can’t wait to make this. FYI it’s on sale right now for under $11
If you put the sticker directly on the wax paper. Does it peel up easily to be reused?
How do you use a sticker book? What is it used for?
I have a hard enough time getting washi tape to stick and stay on regular paper! How on earth does yours stay on WAX paper?
Also, I think if I made one of these, I would just cover regular school notebook paper and clip it into a 3 ring binder.
Ingenious. Thanks for sharing.
Bravo! Well Done!! Have you ever tried using clips to hold the wax paper/tomoe paper while you are stitching? Curious as to how you choose Tomoe River paper rather than a more affordable paper? Very impressive! Way to go!!
The Tomoe river paper was thin and I didn't want anything bulky. It was also left overs from printed experiments that I didn't want to throw away. Perfect for a sticker book. I didn't have any clips at the time to use, I do now, great idea!
Oh yes of course that makes sense!
Have you considered making a multi signature book and binding them with a kettle stitch?
Thanks for your tutorial. Do you put the stickers directly on the wax paper?
I do, yes.
Really cool idea!
Your amazing my friend
I will do it for my son and send you the result
Your books are so cute! I did something similar, but all of my stickers stuck to the wax paper terribly and the stickers themselves kept tearing when I tried to take them off. How do you keep yours from doing that?
Oh no!! I just use wax paper from Walmart. I don't know how I keep them from permanently sticking.
Are you sure you used wax paper and not, say, parchment paper?
This seems like unnecessary work. At least you don't value your time to do this. And then you have to pick all your stickers and put them on afterwards? OMG!
Geez how rude!!! Keep your opinions to yourself- I absolutely adore this video and the sticker book!!!
I agree about people being so rude. No one makes you click on a video. If you find it is something you are not interested in then just move on.
Heres an easier method: How bout, dont!
Why be so rude. You knew when you clicked on this video what it was about. It's fine you are not interested in making a sticker book so just move on to something you are interested in.
