it's only 5.56. obviously that's still not very safe for a top break but it's not like firing a whole .416 outta there. I'm sure it's probably feasible with enough glue
@@ironsightsmcgillycudy7753 it is still entirely feasible though. I'm not saying it'd be a trustworthy firearm at all, I'm just saying it'd work so long as you only grip it with one hand the non dominant hand must be kept by your side at all times, with as many fingers crossed as is possible
@@sabiant.lawson2909 wdym? Like why would it not work with these handmade weapons or with irl equivalents? Top break revolvers were largely abandoned by most militaries and manufacturers due to not being able to handle higher pressure munitions even before the turn of the 20th century. Webley and Nagant revolvers didn't move to side loading frames mostly because the British and Russians didn't want to retrain their manual of arms before or during WW1 so they refined and over-built the locks and frames to prevent disassembly during operation but that massively increased the cost, either in material cost or in the labor to machine more complex mechanisms to hold it together. Most organizations either went with cheaper American or Dutch made side loaders or moved over to Mauser, Luger or Browning style early semi-automatics if they could. It really hasn't been until relatively recently that metallurgy and design has caught up and allows for more powerful munitions to be fired from top breaks but even then those modern versions are massively oversized and you're almost better off with a folding carbine chambered in an intermediate caliber anyway. These hand made ones wouldn't be safe with firing anything stronger than a .22 given that it's being held together with a thin metal latch. If you want in depth specifics I'd suggest C&Rsenal here on UA-cam. They have done a great deep dive into late 19th century early 20th century revolvers and explain why so many nations held onto these outdated weapons for so long and why it ended up bankrupting most of the producers in one way or another.
@@moniquesantrifcer1447 I guess so. Last time i've played, they added the old shelter and a legacy base textures. Hope they get inspired and make Rust a survival game instead of a sweaty roof camping game (at least here in Brazil, many players just roof camp, other geared players just roam across the map just to kill nakeds)
The cola can speedloader is cute
Very
revolver reloads are not that bad honestly
Taking into account the fact that this is a homemade weapon
@@Wind2000channel and it's a top break too
And it fires a rifle rounds too@@sabiant.lawson2909
The military flamethrower reminds me of the nostromo napalmer...
I knew something felt very "TF2" about it 😅
Bethesda has reported this video for hate speech.
HHHAHAHAAAAHAAA, aaa god totally good one
Cowards
what are you talking about?
that was very quick...
tf does this even mean?
Surprised that high cal revolver didn't blow up, cuz top breaks can't handle heavier rounds

It can be done but not on a homemade piece like that with such a weak retaining latch and rusted parts

Wish the studio would give this much love to Rimworld consoles…..
High calibre revolver seem to use RIFLE ROUNDS. So, it must have tremendous recoil, muzzle blast and deafening sound.

The high caliber revolver is such a good gun ngl
This High Caliber Revolver reminds me of the old revolver from legacy Rust

That's a shidton of welding on the revolver. I'm pretty sure welds tend to be more brittle...
well they are certianly better than some of the old reloads that the guns have
You even stated the real name of the Mini-gun and the callibers associated with them too.
What’s the difference between the military flamethrower and the normal one
Even Facepunch made better handmade guns than Bethesda
