Historic Fort Henry

This 19th Century fort, protecting Kingston, Ontario and the entrance to the St Lawrence River is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It was built between 1832 and 1837 - and never fired a shot in anger. Today, it is managed by the Canadian Federal Parks Service and is open to the public, with many wonderful attractions and an adjacent, inter-active visitors' centre.
