    Brilliant Allen I’m shocked it was the tcon on the lg 30 I would of put money down it was the screen that had failed, really enjoyed the video thanks

    Plenty of variety of TV, s and faults to keep us interested in seeing
    the final outcomes.
    Having spare working boards makes fault finding so much easier.
    At least you won a TV with the JVC.

    Would you mind explaining in a future video the fault mechanism behind blocking CLK signals and what's going on when you do that, please?

    The JVC set isn't a UMC/Sharp. These are made by a Chinese OEM called Konka, although they do have similarities as both UMC and Konka (along with other manufacturers like Cello, Haier and Tongfang, a company that builds sets in Port Talbot under brands like Seiki, RCA and Veltech) use Shenzhen MTC for the electronics - you can tell these by the model numbers on the boards that are printed in a white square.

    currently getting tortured by a 49xd8305 dead motherboard & keep getting sent the 2 later versions which do not work
