That kid is so smart! At 5 yrs. old accurately filming things and saying what they are clearly and then emotionally saying she loves her mother! It's touching and that kid is incredible. The mother was very smart to engage her daughter in different activities, especially music. Really helped the girl to develop.
I watched the dashcam about 10 times. She never lunged towards the officers or made any threatening gestures. In fact, she put her hands up and apologized as soon as they took out their weapons. Even if she did, a pot of water is not endangering the life of 2 grown men with firearms. I'm an avid police supporter, but I cannot really make excuses for this officer. @@dirkmasters7453

I had to have a lot of consultations with specialists to deal with the range of students I taught. No two are ever alike. What works with one may not work with another. The autistic brain is still such a mystery! I would do anything to experience what their life is like. If the public understood what it was like, I think we could all be better citizens for those on the specturm.

I loved that last segment on the little girl with autism. I taught for over 20 years as a music teacher will little or no special training on dealing with students on the spectrum. I had to have a lot of consultations with specialists to deal with the range of students I taught. No two are ever alike. What works with one may not work with another. The autistic brain is still such a mystery! I would do anything to experience what their life is like. If the public understood what it was like, I think we could all be better citizens for those on the specturm.
