Pokemon black and white 2 are the only pokemon games dus far that unlock more post game content as a reward for completing the pokedex, unlocking a whole new area with a fixed shiny hexorus encounter.
no matter what your style is: collecting or batteling, in this game both ultimate feats are rewarded with a shiny pokemon.
original Diamond/pearl didn't give you the national dex or battle frontier until you completed the regional dex which meant the whole battle area as well as hetran were unlocked after the dex

5:41 You don't need the Regice/Registeel to be from a copy of B2/W2. You can transfer the missing one from gen3-gen4 and still unlock Regigigas. As long as all 3 Regis are in your party when speaking to Regigigas you should awaken it.
You can also trade for keys for the other one
Got 500 hours in my current save of BW2, nearly done with all the medals and national dex. This game just has such superior post game with endless activities.

What about the PWT, abyssal ruins, Nature preserve, Battle subway, Seasonal N battles, N's pokemon, League rematch, Genescect event (p2 laboratory), hidden grottos, final rival battle, BW1 rival battles, shiny charm, all tms, that one battle test thingy in nimbasa city and I am not going to include every sidequest that was available during the main game though. This is the greatest and most based comment that a content creator hates to see xd.

Do you know, how to unlock the N seasonal battles? In my w2 nothing happens when I enter the spot at N's castle...😢
@@robinlorsch8900 if I recall, after you catch kyruem he appears at the nimbassa ferris wheel and after talking to him the battles should unlock I might be incorrect but I just noticed them at one point while running g around in game
He only appears at the ferris wheel on fridays
I have insane nostalgia for gen 1-3 and kinda stopped playing Pokémon with blavk and white. Only recently i started again and player all the other ones and i must say b/w 2 are some of the best Pokémon games ever. Even with no nostalgia i recognize and cherish those games!

I remember liking Black and White but honestly I’m seriously struggling to replay them, with the amount of Gen 5 Nostalgia in the community in the past few years I think I’ve been hype poisoned. Like I keep hearing about the sprites with all their “personality” compared to the 3D models and I’m just looking at them trying to figure out what the big deal is.
The Pokémon World Tournament is one of the best post-game activities to do. Would definitely recommend playing through it as there's so many unique battles and formats
I started playing White 2 some months ago and it has got the absolute best post game. SOOOOOO many things to do, so much content! And it's all beautifully done!
I poured hundreds of hours into this game as a kid in the year after it came out, and more than a hundred more through the years replaying it and finding new things to put time into.
For example I completely overlooked the PWT as a kid, but recently I finally decided to give it a shot, built a decent team using pokemon I caught as a kid, and beat the champions tournament.
I played this game a decent amount of times probably less than your average pokemon UA-camr but this is by far the pokemon game that I most love in my life
But I never really did the post game outside of the 3 brothers quest and the catch kyurem + box legendary quests
B/W 2 are some of the best in my opinion!
It’s decent but not as good as gen 1, 2, 3 , 7, or 8

My only memory of post game black 2 was me training a new team, going around catching the three verizon company, into walking into undella beach town, got rekt so hard by the surprise buttse- Battle, and thus i had to retire after losing that battle two more times...

@enstevenson4469 X and Y were mediocre (excusable because they had to invest resources in the jump to 3ds) Oras was indeed pretty good. Sun and moon were rushed. Can't comment on Ultra Sun because I never finished it out of boredom due to the cutscenes/slow pace, but supposedly they fixed some issues.
The switch games, although they are fun to play because it's pokemon, all feel like soulless cash grabs. Sword and Shield is probably the worst in this regard.

After a bit of research, I found a thread saying that it is shiny locked, so I would assume it is 👍

I remember the post game in Heartgold and Soulsilver being far superior in every way. The Elite Four was harder than anyone in Black and White not to mention the starters sucked. Lol

The post game in HGSS was basically a repeat from Kanto lol. And maybe you're confusing BW1 and BW2. BW1 has way less post game content than BW2.
