Look into an electrolyte replacer too, it may help with the dizziness and headaches as well. It takes more than water to rehydrate. Looking great! Love what ya'll are doing 😊
Hi Guys! Suggestion? Drink the most water in the evenings and early morning then sporadically during the day. Work 7-11 and again after 5/6 pm. Dad, Mom and Matt Thank you for helping Jared. Be careful, I know you are. Are you always worried about you in the heat. Jared, your dad's ear issue. My dad had that as well. Many years later he had surgery,, The surgery took away the dizziness and he couldn't hear quite as well, but he was no longer dizzy and violently sick. When he had the surgery, he was told he would either have a slight ringing in his ear or Lose some hearing, but he chose that over not missing work due to when his with act up, he would be violently getting sick to his stomach. I am so sorry your dad battles that ear issue. Your home is coming along so nice. It's looking fantastic.

When we moved from the Kentucky mountains to Atlanta in 1967, I thought I was going to die!!! the humidity was so bad! It's not as bad as where you live though, lol! We didn't have a/c in our apartment and my late husband used to wring out wet towels from sweating so much. I don't know how you take 117 heat index. Hope those mini splits work well for you! As I watch the build come together, in my mind’s eye I see the day that the video comes out of Jared showing us his home completed. All done and ready to live in. I am sure that when that video arrives we will see a man whose face reflects the thankfulness for the family that has been by his side to make this possible and pride that comes with creating your own home with your own two hands plus mom’s and dad’s and Matt’s. I know that it will get here when it gets here but something Jared said in his last video brought that to mind.
When I Had KEN BAR CONTRACTING we built a 36-unit apartment building and there wasn't a day that was under 30 degrees Celcius, and to make matters worse it was all on solid rock and not a tree around for a half mile it was a killer I lived on V-8 cocktail because it was too hot to eat. The only time I ever had Vertigo, my allergies were acting up, causing fluid build up in 1 ear. I tried to get up in the night but could not get but part of the way up off the bed! The room was spinning and I felt like all the fluid in my body was on 1side, preventing me from rising! I called out to my daughter to help me up. She laughed at me bc I told her I thought I needed a saddle to hang on to the bed. Hate feeling like that! I know your Mom will make sure y'all are extra careful on the ladders! Great decision to put your health first; heat strokes and falls are REAL! We'll be here whenever it's safe to build again! As always, thanks to the family for helping out!
