      Jazak'Allahu khair bro for your comment... in actuality this is a common misconception about salafi's... in fact the very word salafi necessitates that you have to be one who refers back to the greatest of scholars i.e the salaf who were the first three generations of this Ummah, Sahaba, Tabi'een, and then there students

    The fatwas by those who permit voting are weak fatwas because they're just stating their opinion and they don't give any evidence from the Qur’an, Sunnah or ijma of the Sahabas to permit voting. Nor do they quote any ijma of the scholars past or present about voting. Therefore if you follow the fatwas that permit voting, you'll be just blind following opinions, and we from Ahlu Sunna wal jamah don't follow the opinions of the scholars over daleel.
    Those who say voting is permitted on the basis of choosing the lesser of the 2 evils, we can say that the lesser of the evils/harms is a principle in Islam but when we're given an option of choosing between different Tawagheet or abstaining, we should abstain. The scholars state that we are only permitted to commit shirk if we are under ikrah (coercion). We are not under ikrah (coercion) to support any of these Tawagheet.
    If we are only allowed to commit shirk in the case of ikrah, then how can we be permitted to commit the shirk of voting for a legislator for some interests and benefits?
    Some people say that when someone votes, it does not mean the person is expressing approval or support of kufr. Actually yes it does imply that the person approves and supports the kufr because when they vote they're giving their approval and support to the Tawagheet who ascribe the attribute of Allah (Al-Hakam) to themselves, by legislating. Therefore when you vote for them you are giving your allegiance, obedience, support and approval for them to legislate.
    Our Shahadah requires us to reject and disapprove of all the Tawagheet, including; democracy, Mps, false judges, idols, fortune tellers, shaytaan, someone who is worshipped, etc. My question is, how are you rejecting Taghut by voting for them?

    My argument is, if democracy means the majority have the say. And according to the Quran, the majority of people are wrongdoers. Then how can democracy be good?
    (it would have been better for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are Fasiqun (rebellious).)
    Peace

    Interesting video! I know this is not voting related but I wanted to ask... Are we allowed to take a 1 or 2 hour nap at night in Ramadan. We should make the most of our nights by spending it in worship however I can't stay awake the whole night. I've tried to stay up but I accidentally somehow fall asleep... is it sinful to sleep instead of praying, reading Quran etc at night?

    • @conscious212
      @conscious212 7 років тому

      Ukhta Aadam sister it's not sinful to sleep after esha in ramadan, if you can't stay awake in the night to do ibadah just read surah sajda before you sleep and you get the reward of spending the the whole night in ibaadah

    • @imzytube

      Ukhta Aadam it's not a sin. Don't burden ur soul but instead have a balance sleep on some nights and in other nights when u have more energy and strength stand in the night, read Quran. Remember the Hadith of the Prophet SAW : actions are judged by their intentions. U could be getting reward even if u fell asleep when u intended to pray. MAy Allah accept your efforts to come closer to him and grant you His endless bounty, mercy and forgiveness ا مين

    Assalamu Alaikum Ikhwan,
    Regarding this video and the points you mentioned, (I'd appreciate some clarification):
    You seem to be under the impression that we only have to submit to the rules of democracy if we vote. But isn't the fact that we live in this secular democracy enough that we agree that who ever is voted in is our leader?
    Therefore, are we not already in the system without voting?
    I do think you have a good point when you said that you support the whole party and its policies when you vote for them. So if you do vote for anyone you will generally be supporting same sex marriage and etc.

  • @victory-design
    @victory-design 7 років тому +2

    Salaam this is my message to all those who say not to vote or are against voting..... Until somebody can satisfy my answer and give me a good reason I plan to vote and heres why:
    I;m sure not everyone that vote or MOST people that vote CLEARLY do not think that ALLAH is NOT the sovereign/lawmaker. They are living in a system like this anyway so they are merely selecting someone that will benefit them i.e. muslims. No one in their right mind by choosing to vote will declare that ALLAH is NOT the supreme leader (its the last thought that goes into their heads). So by you saying even if you don't INTEND it that is actually what you are doing (maybe so). But ask yourself the one that is voting HAS HE BECOME A DISBELIEVER?, HAVE THEY APOSTATIZED? HAVE THEY COMITTED SHIRK?? you may say yes they have committed shirk by associating partners with Allah and believing these MP's to be equal to Him and to have similar/better autority/laws for that individual.
    But ask yourself does that person believe Allah is great? do they believe Allah is greater and has law better than that of man-made law? Is Allah the supreme judge? Is Allah ONE? IS Allah the better supreme judge/law giver/ruler than that MP they chose to vote?, If you had a choice would you choose Shariah over Democracy? Don't be surprised that the answers to ALL these questions will most definetley be a YES if they are muslims. So actions and what's in the heart are 2 different things; if they vote and say and believe in la ilaah ilillah muhammadur rasulullah then you cannot call them disbelievers or something similar. Intentions and actions are different. For someone to be a disbeliever it has to come from the mouth. IT IS NOT THAT THEY LIKE DEMOCRACY.....IT IS BECAUSE IT IS THE ONLY SYSTEM AVAILABLE TO THEM TO DEFEND/PROTECT THEIR INTERESTS/RIGHTS. SO THEY DO NOT SEE IT AS SOMEBODY'S LAWS BEING HIGHER/EQUAL/BETTER THAN ALLAH'S. THEY SEE IT AS A MEANS FOR THEIR REPRESENTATION AND IF THEY HAD THE CHOICE THEY WILL GO FOR SHARIA. OF COURSE.
    You say to not vote. Then what are Muslims doing in this country??? Some of them didn't have a choice, some where born here whose parents/grandparents came here. If you say all of them should go live in Muslim lands:
    a) Is there Shariah being practised in any ONE of those Muslim lands??, if shariah is not being practised then what difference does it make to migrate to a muslim country?? the closest country I'd say that practices shariah is Saudi Arabia any other?? I don't think so. Then is Saudi Arabia gonna provide residency/ place to live for 3M muslims? I don't think so....
    b) Realistically it is highly unlikely ALL muslims will/be able to migrate to Muslim lands. Some have businesses (dunya), families, ill + sick (who may not be able to travel), some have been buried here (whose families' visit their graves here). Some may even be lonely have noone, no income to move (stuck). So suppose the ones that can move move, then what about the weak,sick,lonely,vulnerable?? who will help them to eat halal, who will help the sick to get halal food?, who will help the sick to go to the doctors/hospital appointment?, who will represent Muslim sisters/weak being attacked/ridiculed physically and in the media?, when governments increase their oppression on Muslim freedom e.g. niqabs/veils who will represent these sisters??
    Who will represent MUSLIMS? what is the point of being in the country and contributing to nothing including DEFENDING OUR BASIC NECESSITIES/RIGHTS. Ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous (as you say). So even if the majority Muslims were to leave there will still be some remaining in the UK and who could possibly face persecution/racism/islamophobia, SO SURELY THEY WOULD NEED SOMEONE TO REPRESENT THEM AND SURELY THE ONE WHO DEFENDS THEIR RIGHT WILL BE DOING JIHAD in a way by fighting in the cause of Allah, by stopping/preventing evil with their mouth if possible?
    Thus the more Muslims involved in politics the better chances of their rights being protected.
    Besides do you know 140,000 Muslim soldiers from INDIA (Pakistan and India) took part in WW1 and helped the British Empire ?? They were a pivotal part that fought the Germans and helped the British Empire to win the war. Also in WW2 Muslims also helped the allies against the Germans from India and other countries. Muslims have died to help the British Empire win its war, Muslims who had NO reason to fight alongside their OPPRESSOR (if that isn't loyalty then I don't know what is) Then surely they, their descendents, their fellow nationals have a RIGHT to live in the UK, more so than anyone else from abroad. Otherwise is the British Empire just good at taking/looting and not giving?? These Muslims are British and this country belongs to them just as much as it does to John down the road. Otherwise the nearly 200 yrs occupation of India was for nothing!! Where the British lived like Kings and us slaves in our own countries....the irony!!! In the UK we do not live like king, we pay our taxes; than they have the audacity to scurtinise us or tell us this isn't OUR COUNTRY!. India was rich , Aurangzeb one of the Indian Mughal rulers was the riches man on the planet at one time where his kingdom expanded to more than 3.2 million square kilometres and he ruled over a population estimated as being in the range of 100-150 million subjects, with an annual yearly tribute of £38,624,680 (2,879,469,894 rupees) in 1690.
    During 1757 up until 1947s was the occupation of British in India....so you can imagine the amount of looting that took place from between these years!!!! India was a lare rich continent!!!
    point being us Muslims from the sub continent would NEVER have come to this 'floating island' isolated UK, cold and no resources and poor! if it wasn't for them occupying our ancestral homes i.e. India, looting it and our forefathers felt it was better to go abroad to work,earn (and then they still worked and helped this UK, the economy, labour, lower jobs and did not live like kings like the British did in OUR HOMES!!!)
    c) Pakistan was a state formed for the Muslims. If it wasn't for its forefather who was ''part of the system'' in order to liberate the Muslims and provide them their own land/State.
    So if you want change, sometimes you have to be in the system i.e. voting/politics, and then when the time/power is right one can slowly implement change. An example Erdogan of Turkey has added Muslim/Islamic elements into his nation. He recites qur'an, talks about Islam amongst other things and Turkey was liberal A LOT BEFORE....but Erdogan is introducing and watering down the liberalism and reminding people of Turkey's glory islamic days. So sometimes you have to be part of the system for CHANGE.
