If you could transport yourself into a Sega Genesis and smoke a 20 foot long newport 5000 blunt, this is what it would sound like if you could convert that experience into soundwaves.
Is so kool, the bass has a melodic progression that conveys an epic positive emotion, that being direcly played over dark negative vocals and leads. Is like combining positive and negative sounds at the same times and make it sound logical. Is just a creative way to make hiphop, sometimes that is lacking in todays mainstream hiphop, trap is not bad, is just devoid of creativity.
@Clout Lord mane, then how you explain them being able to hear the disses from Memphis back in the day ? Hella Memphis artist was cookin em, and they even dissed back.. I guarantee they were able to hear music from different parts of the world, just like every other rapper during that time
This is fuckin sick. Can you please double check if thats 93 because that sounds like a style that Mtown had couple years later. If it is than this was ahead of it's time as far as the mtown sound goes.
