    Hello Emma Lou - I met you in Australia in 2013 at the launch of Heartfelt Creations Productsin Aust. with Karen from Arnold's Scrapbook and Craft Supplies. My friend and I took a class with you and we have both been hooked ever since. We watch all your videos and really enjoy making cards using product from your beautiful collections. Thank you for coming out her and would love to see you out here again.

    Love all your videos! Love all your products! Just want to add a comment about Joel- I attend the Stamp Fest in Lakeland, Florida (use to be in Orlando) each year. He is the most patient person and does an absolute great job at the Make N Takes on Friday nites! He is a "one man show" and there can be 75 people in the booth at the same time and he makes sure that each person is taken care. Thank you for all your well made products. I also had a girlfriend who drove all the way down from Chicago to attend the Stamp Fest in Lakeland, Florida for the first time and absolutely loved it- especially Heartfelt Creations!

    Thanks for sharing this one lovely vellum technique, beautiful! Hoping for many, many more! I absolutely love using HC dies, stamps, and your paper collections. I also like to play around and see what I can create myself, I don't pretend to have any artistic talent, but I am very drawn to the beauty God made in colors, and also love shimmer and shine. Sometimes I just make a muddy mess, but other times I come up with something that even startles me. I am always looking to learn and improve, and I know I'm always asking for more techniques from you--all because I'm so eager to learn and to improve. Probably selfish on my part and for that I apologize, I just love how you teach and what I learn from you. I do know excellence in teaching, I was a university professor in music (flute) before I was disabled in a car accident--and you are an excellent teacher, I'm grateful to have found you!!!
    I am particularly keen to learn coloring techniques, especially shading techniques as relate to light direction and how to shade around an image--I see a faint blue used around images that looks amazing but I don't know how to use it really... I have a very small gallery on SCS, have uploaded 4 cards in the last year using Heartfelt Creations products--some combination of dies, stamps, and your wonderful paper collections, and hope to create many more.
    Your DT is excellent, what talented artists, you choose your DT well, bravo to you and your team. Sorry this is so long! Blessings to you and your team at HC. Please keep the faith-based sentiments and bible verses coming too. Thanks... :)

    I am so grateful for your email taking me to this video. I have been making vellum orchids and discovered the problem with it cracking when I used a stylus. I have made some beautiful flowers with the orchid dies, but had not tried other vellum flowers because of the limitations with shaping. I did find that going over the flowers with a wink of Stella pen helped them hold their shape (like water on paper, but not as wet). Now I can try some of your other amazing flower stamp and dies with vellum. I am hooked on your collections. Not only are they beautiful, but the quality of the stamps and dies is excellent. Thank you for making such great products and videos to show how to get the most from them. You are a blessing!

    I really am loving the videos i learn so much.I'm having trouble blending colors using pencils when i use water color paper. Love vellum flowers so much but am having trouble with the tool not rolling as easy i do have the heartfelt big kit and even embossing powder breaking off

    • @heartfeltcreations
      @heartfeltcreations  8 років тому

      +Irene Clark Hello Irene, Thanks for your comment! So sorry you're having issues with this. Are you having difficulty curling the vellum? If yes, the vellum is a little more slippery so I like to roll it tightly around the curling tip and hold it a little, since the vellum tends to want to go back to it's original state. When using embossing powder, I like to use the colorbox frost white ink and the ranger white embossing powder.

    Thank you so much for showing us how you make your beautiful cards! I'm really new at card making so can use all the help I can get. LOL I am wondering...I've seen you use chalk ink a lot to color your flowers...is that just because it dries fast...or is there another reason. I don't have any of it yet, and am wondering if I need to put that on my list to get soon or if it could wait. Thanks again so much for your video's! :-))

    Hello and thank you for sharing. I went to 3 Heartfelt Creations workshops at the recent Expo in Anaheim and now I'm hooked. Your products and samples are amazing. Sorry if this seems like a dumb question but these cards are so beautiful and I'd love to send them to people but with the dimensional elements it seems like mailing them is out of the question. Emma-Lou, do you ever come to the Buffalo, NY area or across the border into Ontario, Canada? How I would LOVE to take some classes from you, especially in coloring, but I'd be thrilled to learn anything from you! Please do keep us updated if you are ever able to come here, it would be a huge blessing to those of us on both sides of the border!!! :)
    I'm really looking forward to playing with vellum! I have the two flower-shaping tool sets you had on your store, your new HC flower-shaping kit is FANTASTIC, wishing I could justify buying it when I really have all of the tools, but I have encouraged others to buy it and may buy it as a gift, I know I'd be thrilled with such a gift! :) Looking forward to seeing what I can do with it. The flowers I have made already with your dies, just my preliminary two "batches" made in a couple of days have been so beautiful, can't wait to do more experimenting to see what comes of those. People on SCS have commented a lot on my flowers, they seem to like them and they are a bit different from what I've seen elsewhere which is really fun! All from your dies and taking ideas from your tutorials and then going off in my own direction. This is all new for me, a whole new world as crafting is relatively new for me, a few years and I haven't been able to do a whole lot due to health issues but am determined to do a lot more, I love this!

    • @heartfeltcreations

      Hi Joanne! You can see our complete class schedule by visiting our website and then clicking on the classes link. We don't have anything on the schedule for Buffalo this year. The past couple years we used to teach at the CKC convention in Buffalo, but that event is not happening in Buffalo this year...what a bummer! ~Emma Lou

    • @905lovest
      @905lovest 9 років тому

      Heartfelt Creations Probably a very stupid question, Emma-Lou (sorry), what is CKC? Not something I know of, and I only knew of one stamping/scrapbooking show/convention that came to Hamburg, NY. Clearly something we around here (at least those I know in crafting). Getting to events is tough too, so even if you were in Buffalo, I wouldn't necessarily be able to get there. But I can wish and hope (chronic health situation limits my access to classes), and in the meantime, I learn so very much from your UA-cams. Thank you again, you are a huge blessing to me and to so many!!
