I really like your channel description. The probem is, that most of the kids don´t scan their mods for any issues and only use the texture generator from mcreator. I think, there should be something forum like, where people, that don´t know much about mcreator get help with texturing and general mod making. I would really love, if you could make a tutorial for coding with mcreator, because I already know some java, but the youtube tutorials often are to advanced, so could you guys teach us using mcreator hybrid (coding and mcreator software). I still think, mcreator is a great tool and has much potential.
the thing is making this kind of video take some time and we don't really have a lot of it for x) except some specific stuff we like we don't usually make. For this kind of forum stuff you're talking about Mcreator forums or our discord are place for this kind of discussions / tips / exchanges

Hi, I just followed your tutorial for a shield I made in blockbench, but the thing is the shield doesn't block the damage when I use it, so the player takes the damage. I rewatched the whole thing 3 times and retried to do all the procedures several times, still not working. Do you have any idea why ?
That look awesome, and mechanic works like vanilla and the shield not protect of back attacks But i can´t get a good animation for the item, do you know a way for "animate" the shield?
Not sure if i did something wrong with the procedure, but the shield does not take damage when held in the offhand (shield slot) Do i make a second procedure that starts with the offhand?
i think you just need to not add the "can used ranged item" procedure. then when you stop blocking with the shield it should shoot whatever you want it to.
Pretty vague on how you explained it. You gave a pretty brief tutorial which didn't give us time to comprehend the information. Maybe if you were to explain what it does or something like that, it could've made it better. Because I was pretty dumbfounded how you made this tutorial. You could've at least talked, I'm not criticizing you or anything like that. I'm just telling you that you shouldn't make the tutorials so brief and speed it through. Too fast -> x0.5 Basically, the system is using a projectile launcher with a procedure making it unable to shoot to create a blocking animation / slow the player when using the shield. Then we just add a procedure to reduce the damages taken and damage the shield when the player is attacked and the shield blocking
How about you make a tutorial on animated entities next? The new GeckoLib plugin makes this very easy to do!
We're not using it a lot since Geckolib support is always subject to issues
