Hello! I am myself in this industry in Mauritius. I am totally agree on what you are saying. This is not happening only in India. It is also happening here in Mauritius. None of the hotel is having proper manning, we are working under manning, I am myself a FNB supervisor and most of the time I can not completemy own task as such, as I don't have Bartenders to run two bars, I am my own waiter, beach waiter, bartender Supervising myself and completing all the tasks. Sometime I am so tired that I can't even smile to our guest, as my bosses have juice me out as much as they could. I have staff that is running the bar without any knowledge and out of equipments, we sign overtime sheet and same are sign by the management but at the end of the month most of these overtime are not being paid and ask us to go for RO. Stress level are so high that I started taking pills, and seeing a doctors. Unfortunately hospitality is not the same anymore. And still the management have the gut to say that this is the fault of the youngest. Sad but this is what we left today. Lies, left betrayed, misused.
After spending 3 4lkh in college you get 15 20k and..duty hrs is 13 to 16 hrs.we need to improve this hotel culture other wise we all know what happened 😢😢 this is sad reality of hotel industry
