    These are great, bought several of both sizes. Hobby Lobby also do wooden spools of various sizes which make great columns, as well as dowel caps which make great urns for scenery.
    Since you’re a Dollar Tree hound, have a look in the hardware aisle, you might be able to find some wood stain marker pens that I used to stain mine - they come in packs of 3 colors, black, mahogany and walnut or cherry, maple and oak

      @@brokenterrain I just went to Hobby Lobby and found a 6 pack of the wood repair pens, all 6 Mr. Reynolds mentioned. Locally 8 bucks. And holy Christ, this was so fast and easy to do. I would send pics if I could. Serious the longest thing was putting in the lines. So fast.

    The large barrels are perfect Ale or wine barrels. Perfect for a tavern

    Perfect! Never liked DM Scotty's barrels, too crude, too much time and effort. These are perfect! Will making a run to Hobby Lobby soon... Again, Minwax Polyshades Royal Walnut urethane stain will do these better than a paint wash. Cheers!

    What kind of bottle are you using to apply the brown wash?

    • @brokenterrain
      @brokenterrain  3 роки тому

      Something like this www.target.com/p/wilton-2pc-mini-squeeze-bottles/-/A-80858685
      Dollar tree probably has something as well. Small to medium sized plastic squeeze bottles is what your looking for. Works really well for home made washes.

      Your time is a valuable resource. If you think buying or 3d printing is "cheating" then that's your opinion. I will never go back to crafting a barrel. A waste of time.

    So the trick to make barrels yourself, is to buy them and do some minor etches?
    Yeah, thx for nothing here...

      I understand your point. However if you count your time as a resource then you might understand where I'm coming from with this hack. I think the cheap price combined with just a little bit of effort is a great way to achieve a quick and quality looking barrel. I've made barrels from scratch. It took hours for just a couple. A couple dollars was well worth the time saved. Either way, I appreciate the view and comment and hope you find something valuable in another video.
