- We went to stay at a hotel to enjoy Father's Day. Even though it was close to home, in Tokyo, it was the first time in a long time that we felt like we were traveling and it made us very happy! The hotel we stayed at was the Four Seasons Tokyo Otemachi. It was a great hotel, kid-friendly and with lots of fun gadgets.

I was depressed, I have no special skills nor any hobbies. Life feels so empty and boring, and I was clueless about what to do my life. It might as well end tomorrow I thought. But I randomly saw this video, I don't usually watch this kind of stuff. Seeing your little happy family somehow warms my heart. I felt like I have another purpose to live, to one day live with own little family happily like this. Thank you so much, I'm literally crying just watching your little girl running around. You never know whose life you are changing. Thank you.

Perhaps you feel useless but everyone is here to find their purpose in life, it is a path of finding it and not already knowing it at the beginning of your life. You will find a hobby and skills comes with practice! Go outside, try new things and take it step by step. Life can be really really hard, but video's like this are signs there is hope🧡

@@cherrycupcake277 😊! And with the hobby's, what I did is just trying some things! Via UA-cam learning something or taking a beginners lesson somewhere in a sport, music or creative hobby. That's how I found the hobby's that I do now. I did one lesson of an instrument and I took a ceremic lessons. And via UA-cam and family I learned cooking and arts! You sure will find yours but it will take some time❤️💪😄

I can tell you that my Asian family deemed "manners" as something to pull out when dealing with "outsiders".
"Please", "thank you", and "could you..." were simply not used between family members.
When I tried, I was met with blank stares, and told to "stop wasting my breath".
@@MC-ko2mx oh I see, my family is Arabic but the elders in my family try very hard to adhere to British “culture” since they moved here before I was born, they’ve always pushed for us kids to speak to them with respect at all times, if I ever asked my nana for something without saying please or thank you she wouldn’t give it to me. They were pretty strict in that sense.
My Asian Mom and Dad are like 2 UFC fighter, always trash talking to each other (especially from my Mom side), but if there's a guest coming to our house, they act extra polite to each other. Won't be suprised if this couple do the same, especially if they married for 20+ year. They just being nice bcs on camera, moreover they're a family youtuber need to build good reputation.
When a two year old lowers her voice because her parents said so, it shows how well her parents raised her☺️

Its not only obedience in my opinion, also learning to be emphatic. Sutan understood how by raising voice she was troubling her parents and others. Truthfully even I sometimes don’t realize I am being too loud in public.

I absolutely love how Moe and Moto constantly reaffirm Sutan.

- "Yes you are pretty. You are pretty without makeup. You are also pretty with makeup."
That right there is so important to teach kids that their choices, no matter what they are, are ok. It's a multi layered teaching of confidence, choices, acceptance from others and self and body and face health, teaching girls especially that makeup or no makeup are both equally fine, and so much more.

- "Yes it's ok to eat a lot."
That too is a massive teaching in pleasure of food, tasting new things and expanding your world and palette, that food is good and eating for nurishment and pleasure is ok, and so many other lessons.
Moe and Moto never shame or scold Sutan in any way. I think their parenting and couples goals are the most loving, respectful and supportive I've ever come across.

you can see how Japanese people care about others. They are trying not to disturb other customers at the restaurant. Instead of enjoying the dinner together, they go outside alternately for sutan and the reputation of the restaurant. I am a Japanese person who lives in Canada and I miss that kind of thoughtfulness...😓
I’m not sure I agree on this one. From my experience Japanese people tend to be very judgmental when it comes to children in restaurant. You don’t always have a chance to go out (due to weather or any other conditions) and when you have a crying kid you get ugly facial expressions . Although I understand it can be annoying, children are part of society and they should be treated that way:)
@@anetaintokyo7571 That hasn't really been my experience at all. I've seen it happen, but it happens far less in Japan (in my own experience) than it does in NY. The only times I've seen more than just one unhappy table or so, is when the child is actually being too rowdy and the parents arent making much attempt to quiet them down.

Those with young kids should go to those restaurants that are family friendly and there are plenty of them and those that want peace and quiet should go to those that are not exactly catered to families.

My Japanese friend has parents who are still married, and living under the same roof, but leading separate lives.
They are more like polite strangers, than husband and wife.
Moto, Moe, and Sutan are *very* lucky to have each other.
But Moe herself had been through her fair share of heartbreak, when she divorced from her first husband.
Marriages are marriages, whether in the West, or elsewhere.
Some work out, and some do not.
The trick is to be in a marriage that does, regardless of where you are.

He is so hardworking that he only have little time to spend with his family. Some people would feel lonely and maybe break up. But this family is different. This family gives their best to make each other happy. They care for each other, they respect each other and most importantly, they make it work out! I am really happy for them.

I love how Moto is doing Sutan's hair while Moe is getting dressed. He clearly adores and loves her daughter so much! Most fathers won't put up with it and just let the mother dress and style their daughter.
Seeing Sutan at her little makeup table really shows how much she looks like Moe, especially when she's concentrating on something. And when she smiles you can see a resemblance to Moto too! She definitely takes after her parents in terms of looks AND a kind/sweet/funny personality. 😚

Well there is not a single parent who doesn’t remember those days, my 45 year old daughter was the very same way when we took her out to a restaurant, i will only say this you cant go back so make sure you remember today and as you cook, clean, and do housework, remember to spend time with your husband he will be there when the daughter like mine has her own family, this year my wife and myself will be our 50th anniversary

i’m way too young to have kids but i remember this in a child’s point of view... kind of a similar experience, i used to go on short holidays to the beach whenever my dad can come back home and it was so fun. i miss those days too much
