I just got my second partybox 310 do you recomend updating the speaker ?
I don’t find any difference after updating
2 310s have a woofer surface area of about 132 sq inches while 1 710 only has about 100 sq inches. So in most cases it would be more powerful to get 2 310s. But a single pb ultimate would be a different story.
1 710 is way more powerful than 2 310s
Surface area on its own is a worthless statistic, You can make the biggest woofer in the world but put 1 amp through it and it will still sound quiet

So which one do I recommend more the 710 or the 2 310
The 710 has lower and bigger sounding bass whereas the 310's have overall more impact full and powerful bass
710 wins in everything except for midrange and volume is tied pretty much
Don't forget the 710 has too be plugged in it doesn't have a battery where as the 310 has a battery and is portable.
It looks like the 310s were running of their battery, remember that there is a power increase when using of a mains outlet

Don’t forget you could space out two speakers over the single 710 one… and thats something ofcourse you cant show in a youtube video but will be a huge deciding factor when you listen to in actual

I do like to have 4 speakers around me. When you daisy chain them, the 4 speakers will produce individual mono sound?

Also you don’t get the EQ quality in the three daisychain speakers only in the original one that you are hooked to I had to call and verify that with Technical Support and the EQ go from your phone Bluetooth into the speaker but each additional speaker that is party chained does not get the EQ mix unfortunately like the first speaker does that kind of sucks because it’s already in mono but it would be nice if you could get the extra loads in the extra has even if it’s in mono in the daisychain but you cannot not unless there’s a way around it that I don’t know about .Irritating that with the smaller speakers they got the party boost and you can Bluetooth 100 damn speakers but with the large ones they limit you to only two speakers in TWS I don’t understand why JBL did it that way it would be nice if you could TWF at least four speakers or even six speakers throughout your house or whatever event that you are doing ?
@@honeybadger713 yeah im gonna work with old skool receiver and get a proper system. I've heard the jbl a few weeks ago at a friends party. I didnt find the sound any special to be honest. So I prefer Hifi speakers connected to receiver, maybe with 1 or 2 subwoofers added.
@@Lex-hk4fn in the room I have with just me there 14 by 25 feet it does well. Maybe not for a whole party though. But it’s just me there I used to have a an integrated system ( Techincs A-750 ) in the 80’s and these actually sound better than what I had then though , but systems do vary so definitely building a traditional system up from the ground is better. They are just hard to find in stores from what I have seen.

710 for sound and loudness, the 310s for portability
Is it me one the 710 sounds better? It’s more clear and louder for me. Well, the 310 can both be spaced out for surround sound so I guess that’s better.

The 1000 is just a little louder than a 710. The 2 710s would be a lot louder and more fun because of stereo.
