I have the ultimate and also heard the 710 in person and there is a difference but not that drastic 710 sounds like it’s on bass2 for like jazz music here something don’t sound right 🤷‍♂️

Would be nice to actually hear your opinion. Listening to it like that doesn't really tell or show us the difference. You would have to be hooked up to headphones or something else to hear any kind of difference.

When you can't afford something you can pretend by saying what you have is the best the same case to those who have JBL 710 they just pretend and say 710 is better but in actual sense ultimate is better than 710 no doubt on that

i was about to buy ultimate but went to 2x 710s cuz they were in sale for 449e each (ultimate is 1199 atm) and they are amazing great bass and sound i might get ultimate later.. i sold my pb1000 and i think my 710s are better than that one and i was amazed that how much they shake my house and roof even on 50% volume no regrets.

But ultimate is ultimate 😮❤

The ultimate doesn't have a subwoofer on the bottom like the PB1000 does, so the bass is more directional whereas on the partybox1000 the bass sounds fuller because of the downward firing sub
