Man, that sounds smooth! 🤤 You’ve convinced me, I’ll definitely be swapping my Slate Digital Everything Bundle with the PA Mega Bundle (or what it’s called) when it expires in a couple of months.
Me too I love this shadow hills compressor way better than the Slate Digital FGX compressor.
@@fantaztikbeatz You know, I actually did cancel Slate and subscribed to the PA Mega Bundle shortly after I wrote that comment. It’s been more than two years now, and I have absolutely no regrets. I use PA plugins in every single mix or master, and except for maybe reverb and delay, I don’t really need anything else.
@@britishboxer6875 I didn’t even understand even half of that. Who says you can use a compressor only either for mastering or for tracks?
@@britishboxer6875 I use it mostly for drum group bus and mastering, and sometimes on the vocal group bus. It works great on single channels too, but I don’t use it for that. I can’t tell you why they’ve used these exact examples, as I didn’t make the video. 😉

Hi Peter. Thanks for the feedback. Yes this totally depends on your system. However, being that it’s a native plugin means you can take advantage on using it on large sessions if your system allows. Nevertheless, on main channels such as the Master it sounds great!

Amazing sound. I have one question about the layout though - why did the original designer go with In/Out instead of Bypass On/Off? What’s the logic behind this?
I am new to this, and i don't see the presets in windows 10? in ableton. But sounds like it makes sounds 3D!

they are there, just ableton manages the presets, just click the arrow next to the plugin and it expands to show them. drag on channels, double click etc.

Hey! It’s two compressors in one. An optical compressor to smooth out the transients and a discrete compressor for fast attack and release settings.

Quick question. lets just saying if you only have a song with just a single track but it is not broken down into multiple tracks for mastering in ProTools. Can you use this on the music track on the insert section or in the master 1 section of pro tools with all the other plugins for mastering. Thank you

We are aware that many people are still working with older gear, but the industry dropped the 32bit standard several years ago, making it very hard to create new plugins that work well in both resolutions. This is why no new plugins will be released in this format. Sorry for the bad news!
I got this thing and it just has mono output no matter what.

Thank you for your reply. I put the plugin on a master bus on FL Studio and it monoed the sound. I did some tinkering and I found that I installed the VST1 and VST3 version. The VST3 one is a clear stereo. The mono one turned out to be the VST1.
@@bengsynthmusic None of our plugins support VST1. This may however be related to a bug we were able to work out with Image-Line. If you have reported this bug to our support, you will get notified as soon as the bugfix rolls out. Our maintenance updates are always free.
