I hear you but as someone who is a recovering weed user, it's totally different. Anyone who's smoked weed will confirm it's just totally different, weed turns your brain off and makes the body super lazy, almost zombie like. A glass of wine or whiskey brings a sober calm, and definitely doesn't affect the brain the same way. now, 3 glasses of wine, yeah that's not the same lol.

As for the weed thing, I used to think weed makes you lazy until I quit for 1 year (built my discipline through gym + marketing project) and then smoked again. And it actually helped me be more creative (at marketing) and I didn't let it stop me at all. Now of course, you need very specific limits. But my point is: weed is just a tool that's no better than its user

Andrew has built up his tolerance for stress to a level and overcome his fears to a level towhere he is comfortable in tough situations. George's nervous system is imbalanced, until he can built a mindset that is almost bulletproof he will need some relaxation time in a comfort zone to give his nervous system time to recover from the way his nervous system reacts to stressors in his daily life. But chances are, if he quit the weed his nervous system would be more balanced due to lack of the paranoia from weed and his neurotransmitters would be more balanced. I agree a glass of whiskey is completely different because it effects the GABA recepters in the brain (which relaxes you), marijuana just gives the illusion of relaxation because it's novel and can take your mind away from the things that are bugging you. The whiskey makes the stressors literally not bug you. Doesn't mean go and drink a glass of whiskey every night (alcohol has it's own negative effects) but that is why a lot of people can and still remain productive, relatively happy, etc.

If it's in your heart to be close to God, Cannabis can help you get closer to Him. It can make you aware of where you fall short in your relationship with him. That tells me it's a tool given to us by God. The bible tells us that alcohol was given as a gift to make mans heart rejoice, but it has undoubtedly caused many evils, violence, promiscuity, etc. Because it's meant to be used in moderation, as well should cannabis be used in moderation. If you're the type of person who wants to play video games instead of serving your creator, then you will just play video games.

Moderation and knowing when to smoke is key, I used to be the huge stoner that smoked all day everyday and now it’s maybe once every week or two at night after a long week or stressful couple days etc..

I was in your exact place not too long ago and God had to show me the reason I was smoking in order for me to quit. I smoked just to chill out after work but it got to a point to where I was dependent on it in order to relax after a tough day. God reminded me that we should cast our burdens unto Him and that I should rely on him to calm me at the end of my day not anything else.
That's exactly what I was thinking. There shouldn't be a drug that we do not need medically in our daily usage for rest. He has been trying to ask many people to justify his idol. I think because he questions this drug, that isn't named in the bible, he might be experiencing the conviction of the holy spirit in him. There is no man that can tell you what's right or wrong. The discernment is within you.

Humans had to spend hours a day hunting for food for the majority of our existence and now we’re lazy fat bums that do the absolute bare minimum and we wonder why we have so much energy before bed. I quit daily smoking bud after 15 years of it, you get over the insomnia after a week or so. Occasionally I’ll take a hit of a joint on special occasions, like thanksgiving golf or some shit. even have a jar full of it at home but I have no desire to go back to my old ways. Nobody tells me I look sleepy anymore and I’m way more confident and comfortable. Gets easier and easier. As someone who LOVES ganja, I gotta say, I decided to not smoke all of 2024 and had my last smoke at 11:30 pm NYE and not only do I feel the best I’ve ever felt, but the synchronicities and blessings have been SURREAL. I wanted to stop for a while but couldn’t but I finally committed and the clarity is next level. Also any time I want to get high I just do some deep breathing and I’m LIT 🔥

It does often get to the extent that they legitimately don’t ever ‘chill’, but that’s not necessarily unhealthy. Very likely unhealthy for MOST people, but that means nothing. There’s also some people that naturally sleep less than 6 hours with no adverse effects. I wouldn’t call their behavior ‘unhealthy’ even tho it would be if I did it. Also, it’s up for everyone to use their own discretion on what advice to follow. No one is feeling bad for some dipshit that chose to burn themselves out with his advice.

I've given it up completely, almost 2 months without. It's the longest I've gone without it, i too would just use it to unwind and have had no problem going on small tolerance breaks. I found myself really searching to know if smoking was a sin or not as I want a closer relationship with God. After months of finding many mixed answers and emotions, the conclusion I came up with is. If I have to ask if it's even a sin or not, I shouldn't be doing it. Hopefully this helps someone. God put it everywhere, it cures many ailments and alleviate countless others, the rest of the plant can be used for virtually everything from textile to making homes. It encourages introspection, creativity and beatitude. It's a gift from god. Of course you should use it, but in moderation. Thank God it's not nearly as addictive and bad in consequences as other stuff like alcohol.

I see my adhd as a gift. My brain is on full throttle all day, as long as im not taking a break, then i get tired. I have had to learn how to take lunch break and not gett tired. I just have to do something while i eat. 😂
George....The Lord has shown me that when we smoke Marijuana, we are seeking our peace. As God's children, we are to follow His commands, and a part of that is observing His sabbaths. Not the sabbaths that men command, but the sabbaths God commands every generation observe forever. There are 7 in a year, and then one in a week. Our family has repented from observing Sunday sabbath and adopting saturday sabbath, and the peace that we have been filled with from that is miraculous!! I used to smoke too until I obeyed this, and the peace literally surpasses understanding. Yah, bless you, brother!! 😇
