I understand that the 76 contestants who have appeared on The Masked Singer (USA) have all been through a lot. I am not a hater of this show at all. I don't disrespect anyone if they are a good singer or not. or in other cases some singers have gone out of the competition early or survived longer. The Masked Singer is a show where you can have no room for hate. Whenever I feel down, I sometimes watch The Masked Singer performances to cheer me up. I love all the contestants which to me is a positive thing.

Nobody deserves hate on this show period! Every contestant did a really great job, everyone is unique in their own way. Do just hate on them for stupid reasons like these. Edit: Since season 6 ended I mine as well update you on my thoughts. While Im not that mad about this “hate” thing as much I am still disappointed in this fandom! Critizing how the costumes look or how this person should have gone instead of this one. Look I get it because I get a little angry about that situation too, but just straight up hating on the contest doesn’t fly with me! Unless you really hate the celebrity under the mask you have no right to criticize that person because they are just having fun

You know something? The fact that this video exists for what it is just brings out a huge real talk, especially from me. This is coming from a perspective of someone who has always been aware of this show's existence and concept but haven't really gotten heavily indulged into it until New Zealand has gotten their own version of the show that aired early this year, as budgeted as it was in comparison to the rest of the world. Still, I very much enjoyed it, and I wouldn't even be part of this fandom if it weren't for the show to carry over to the country I live in. Seeing all these wacky and extravagant costumes, hearing how different their disguised voices are compared to their singing voices, and of course, they reveal themselves, even if I still ended up questioning “Who are they?” for most of them; I’ll admit it takes me back to the amount of fun that was prevalent during a good portion of my childhood, as well as just the fun I crave for during these challenging times.
Obviously, I wasn’t even aware of how infamous some of the masks were except for maybe White Tiger, so watching through Australia 3 completely blind from start to finish, as it was the first season where I did such thing, it really opened my eyes as to how people in this fandom behave, more so towards masks they don’t like. It’s one thing to dislike how a contestant sounds, but it’s another to flat out accuse one of cheating by using Auto-Tune, because believe me, people will always find every single excuse to hate on a contestant. I gotta say that while there are indeed contestants I feel were robbed by other contestants that should’ve gotten the boot instead, I actually don’t hate any masks on this show. I can’t really picture myself spending a breath hating somebody who just wanted to have some fun in a competition that’s isn’t even serious in the slightest. I always saw it as a guessing game first and a singing competition second. Usually it doesn’t matter to me if a contestant I like gets eliminated or didn’t go as far as I wanted them to, because whatever position they ended up in doesn’t alter my liking towards that contestant. The same goes towards finalists I feel were undeserved. Sure they may have 3-4 more performances than someone who only has two, but I’d honestly rather take 1-2 amazing performances from a single contestant over 7 meh/forgettable ones from the same person.
It's kinda aggravating. Seeing these accusations being thrown around, as well as just all the hate many other contestants get, when I really just want these kids to come out of their screens and try to perform in front of a live stage inside an overheated costume where they can't see inside. They'll realize how hard it really is. For a show whose sole recognizable trait is all about the variety the show has for their costumes and contestant singing ability, that very specific trait gets thrown out the window pretty quickly whenever a “robbed” contestant gets eliminated.
And when people aren’t hating on the contestants, they just find every single reason to hate on the fans of one. I kid you not, I’ve actually seen way more people say that Black Swan fans are toxic and complain about how toxic they are than actual toxic Black Swan fans themselves. Really, 95% of the time is just kids on the internet making up a guy, tricking themselves into pretending that guy exists and then getting mad about it.

I’m not gonna name drop anybody here but they know who they are. If I get called a toxic fanboy or some crusty old boomer just for how I sound as well as everything I’ve said up to this point then so be it. Because I know for sure that the majority of the people in this comment section aren’t even old or mature enough to handle it anyway. Going around with their standard Masked Singer username with a mask of their choice, they’re all the same.
I may have come across as angry up until this point but I’m honestly just disappointed. A show directed towards families where it’s literally an hour of fun out of our daily stressful lives just has to come to this. I was never the brightest person, as my past experiences with fandoms sure have shaped me into who I am today, for the better or worse. But even I get irritated and upset when I see people say that they’ll quit watching the show forever if their favorite doesn’t win and they’ll hate every other season and adaptation of the show if there’s more “robberies”. I’m gonna be quoting somebody who's not a fan of the show by a stretch, but still makes an amazing point on fandoms. Guys, you can dislike and make fun of Pineapple, Eagle, White Tiger and all those other “bad” singers, but y’all gotta stop shitting the bed. You can’t be doing this forever. You have to show your love for this series. I feel like the more people dwell on being angry and upset over certain masks robbing people, the more they forget about why they liked the show and ended up being fans to begin with. The competition wouldn’t be fun anymore, and that’s not what you’d want, wouldn’t it?
If you don’t like it anymore, feel free to get out of it. Nobody’s forcing you to stay in a franchise that you’re obviously not a fan of anymore and you’re not obliged to be sticking into one interest. So much of the bullshit I’ve been seeing towards fans and even people that were never actually a fan to being with go out their way to flat out slander the show every time a new season airs saying it’s cringe or the worst show in history of mankind, just like every other critic that also slandered the show numerous times for the exact same reasons. For what? To get some little publicity? Where they could’ve just found something else to enjoy instead of wasting their time dwelling on stuff that doesn’t actually matter and just spewing negativity towards something they claim to be a fan of but actually not. Reading how hateful and toxic people can be just makes me wanna throw my phone across the room. We get it, you don’t like it anymore. Go watch something else. Read a different book. Play a different game. Listen to a new artist. There are many other blimmin’ shows you can indulge in. It’s really just time to move on.
This has been a long enough comment for me to post on a topic like this, and people may or may not see this nor care about my rambling. Either that or UA-cam ends up deleting my comment anyway due to stupid glitches and the like. Some may be shocked by my use of swears, but I just don’t give a damn no more. I’m gonna leave this comment as it is and it’s up to anybody how they’ll perceive and act on it.

The worst case scenario I could possibly imagine happening is that the show gets cancelled because more and more people just couldn't contain themselves on Twitter. Such a happy ending, isn't it? Just when I was about to actually enjoy something, it gets immediately taken away courtesy of the apples that I still hold a grudge towards. Fans don't get a show to watch, while the producers and crew lose their jobs. Nobody's happy.
I see more of these apples try to justify their behaviour, only for them to come off as complete hypocrites. They pretend to like a particular mask until it actually goes further than they want them to, or they just happen to have one lackluster performance, which is enough for people to completely turn on them, as if the masks themselves have committed an actual crime. I never thought actual crimes can equate to singing songs either terribly or mediocrly, but here we are.
Ok i gonna be honest, im super happy that Frog was not on the list. I love Frog to bits but i do agree with Chameleon though. He was not as enjoyable until he redeemed himself in the finals

I don't think anyone should hate a Round 1 elimination, because they didn't do anything wrong. If someone sucks and gets eliminated first, don't hate them because it's not like they beat a good singer. Just say you don't like their voice but there's no reason to hate on them.
I completely agree. I don’t think people should hate any mask just because they are “a bad singer” (unless they outlasted better vocalists), but even then it’s not the singers fault that they stayed, it was the audience who voted him in.
None of these singers did anything wrong NONE and also it’s not the singers fault if they moved on to the next round the singers don’t make themselves loose it’s the audience that keeps them
I understand the reasoning for most of them, but Night Angel was hated due to beating Turtle?! I don’t think she deserves the hate because she was also really good & deserved to win as well. Also, Black Swan was hated by her Feisty Five performance?! I really liked her rendition of Thinking Out Loud, but I will say, I think her finale performance wasn’t as strong as her other performances. Overall, great video!

Season 1:I actually don’t hate any of them
Season 2: Again I wouldn’t say I hated or disliked any of them
Season 3: Frog-His rapping wasn’t even that entertaining he didn’t deserve to make it to the finals at all
Season 4: Again didn’t hate and of them but I did dislike Crocodile idk he just felt overrated

No, she wasn't. She was set up to tell furries to yiff in hell. The producers of the show hate furries and have been rigging the show so that their least furry costume wins every time since S3, with S5 being the only exception. I mean, for fuck sake. The last three seasons had all ended with an incredibly furry costume vs the biggest fuck-you possible, and the fuck you won all three times. Do people really think Macaw is gonna beat Medusa? I'd love to see it, but I'm sure it will be the fourth season in a row that it happens.

For me personally I liked the Mushroom because he has a good voice but for valery performance it was weak but I’m happy he made it further because even know he is underrated he made it further then the other contestants that are underrated too. For Night Angel she has some good performance I really loved is these songs that she sing: You give love a bad name, Million reason, Man I feel like a woman, How to love, and her final performance idk the name of that song. But honestly it was a hard decision to make between Turtle and Night Angel to win.
Guys sorry I hate jellyfish since she beat mushroom singing unconditionally. Anyways he did showcase more genre compared to jellyfish. But it's all my opinions.
In my opinion broccoli should have place 5th, serpent in 4th, mushroom in 3rd, and either sun or seahorse becoming season 4 champion.
Eagle is by far the most unfairly hated mask ever. His voice isn’t that bad actually, and going off of first performances and the smack down, he should have beat Penguin instead IMO

That is so true! Sometimes, I would be sad if my favorite doesn’t win, but I wouldn’t be mad at the winner. For example, I was very sad Black Swan lost, but I am so happy Piglet won because he was amazing. People shouldn’t be hating on others just because they beat their favorite. All the bullying and hate Night Angel received was very unnecessary.

@Julian Roane black swan certainly wasn’t what night angel was but there were a lot who didn’t really like her because of that last performance and I’m sure it was tough for dancing seahorse to figure out who a third person might be.

Pineapple was a straight mood LMAO he’s iconic! Black Swan is so mega talented. Same goes for Peacock! Unicorn is so precious, I love her. I just don’t understand how they could be hated. Well, maybe I can. Still though they’re some of my favorites.

Rhino gets hate for no reason 😤, he’s an underrated character, and he’s got a great voice, not that highly impressive but always stayed good and decent with his performances even if they felt boring or the same sometimes

In defense of Raccoon, Snail was revealed to be Kermit the Frog which I’m sure was planned out by the producers to get people to watch the show. Raccoon went home the next episode but when revealed he admitted that he did it to have fun and he felt like a winner. I loved Raccoon because I knew who he was from the get go
The shows about having fun. I don’t get why they get hated on. Sure some aren’t the best but who cares they’re having fun?

@corgi powerI thought Chameleon’s drop it likes it’s hot was one his better ones but I will admit out of the five of them that episode I actually thought Chameleon should’ve unmasked and I love Chameleon but if he was eliminated in F5 then we wouldn’t have gotten his amazing performance in the finals
