If anyone's wondering why you need a mobile app, it's so that even when BOTH COMPUTERS aren't turned on simultaneously, you can still sync the files. (Since the phone is always turned on, it can connect to any of the two computers at any time, being a middleman device for syncing)
Thanks for sharing, works great! Didn't need to do the phone bit as I'm fine with having both pcs on at the sane time to sync but this works fantastically well. 😊
@@Gekumatz Here's a solution I found so that both PCs don't need to be on: Open the mobile app while the first PC is on, so that the new file will sync to the phone. When using the second PC, open the mobile app. That way, the new file on the phone will sync to the second PC. Hope this helps!
Awesome it works! Also if you don't mind me asking, I have it working on my phone but it frequently goes into sleep mode when my phone isn't on. Does it still sync automatically if there is a change on either computer? It says there are no peers online when my other computer is offline and so if my phone. Other than that, it works perfectly fine and I'm happy with it.
Sadly, I tried to do this at my steamdeck, but i cannot open the Linux isntall file. Never had a problem with installing anything on the linux steamdeck system before.
Very helpful and easy, since I dont have access to my other computer right now can I just make it have no peer approval? then I can just send the email to myself and it should be done on the other computer right?
I have done everything but how do i get minecraft to automatically open the syncked files instead of having to drag them to the worlds folder after each save

That's right!
Great tutorial, you deserve much more attention!
Glad you liked it!
Please add a “do back ups before you sync anytjing” warning, it just cleared at least 4 years worth of progress and a single go, nice.
The deleted files are saved in the . Sync folder for many days, it’s hidden so select show hidden folders in Explorer and recover them from there
Great video! So helpful, I've wanted something like this for years.
Glad it was helpful! I felt the same haha was surprised no one else already found a way lol
Thank you this is exactly what I needed! Its pretty dumb minecraft doesnt allow you to do this in the first place lol
Oml, it worked from my laptop to my iMac, now I can play Minecraft on the go! Thanks so much man!!! :D
Awesome, welcome mate
@@GMODISM I have a question, can you sync mods like data packs? If so, how?
@@imapro64 Yes, should be able to do the same way, just do an additional folder and sync where you have the mods
@@imapro64 But I haven't tried myself, it should work however
@@GMODISM Ok, I'll try it later. Thanks!

Great to hear!
Works great for the most part, except the Simple Mode button on mobile isn't there, meaning I have to keep both PCs on.
Yeah I faced this issue aswell, any work around?
Question though I believe this may be a android feature? Assuming you have a iphone as the middleman?

Dude, you're a legend.

Very cool. Thank you!
Hope it will be useful! :)
Wow thank you so much very helpful
Glad it's useful mate!

Yeah, but at least one device needs to files to send to the others.

Seems like you are not syncing into the right folder then, try again but watch the tutorial more closely
thank you!!
You're welcome!!!
how do i play the world then? after i log into minecraft i cant see my worlds
Could this be applied to a server? I want to sync the world via backups running on a low spec pc to my high end pc for troubleshooting/testing
Yeah it should work if you can install resilio on your server!
I wanna do this with my windows desktop and my MacBook will that work
Should work
Did it worked for you? Im thinking on doing the same between my windows desktop and M1 MacBook
@@andresd270 Just tested it, it worked for me, gonna test how it's going to handle syncing conflicts tho
I want to sync both Ipads without using a computer, is that possible?
Should work yes, but don't think ipads run java Minecraft, but if yours do, then yes
@@GMODISM I have 3 IOS devices and want the worlds to always sync from one device to another, I cant figure out how to set this up
did you figured it out?
@@Muddassir_Ahmed no not yet
If i will build a House for example on my pc will it be on my laptop? Like does is save everything I build on on or other device?
Yes, when you exit the game it saves it and syncs the save to the laptop too.
Great , thank you
@@Kenjiiseverything good luck setting it up
when i do it it crashes right the second it has loaded
Does this work for modded worlds? Say like I have the same curseforge mod and wanna sync the saves, will it also work?
if the mods are identical there should be no issues syncing the saves
dont think it works anymore, couldnt find the saves folder
mine is still there like before
The location doesn’t pop up on my phone
For anyone wondering after hours of trying this doesn't seem to work on bedrock edition
Only Java my guy
It can do it’s just different pathways
Bedrock is harder to find but I’ve done it
i just did it... just find the pathways
@@DavidFromTheFuture Please tell me how it's breaking my mind because android is hiding my saves folder from me.
