Chris has assembled a phenomenal team…. “They love being Rangers” Indeed and we love being their fans.
Lavi and all of the coaches deserves credit for improving the team .
There is no doubt: This is one helluva team.
I give Drury a great deal of credit for crafting such a great team while spending a handful of butt lint and a piece of string for good talent. This team is tight. LGR.

It's luck. All gms and scouts and coaches all have the same info To go on...drafts etc....sometimes it works. It's like dating...one guy could to On bumble and find a great gf ...the next 5 hate bumble. Lou lamriello has been with isles what 5 years...they suck. He was supposed to be a hockey god...he also said babcock was great, yet toronto fired him. Fred Shero nyr ..awful...Phil esposito played under him and said he was losing it. Mike Keenan among the most hated coaches ever. So..this..hes dojng great job...is bullcrap...if that's what u think..then go at it. Oh, Drury brought In Davidson and Boston guy gordie? They were was winners...but, hey if u wanna give him key to city...ok
@@FivesWasRight Drury did the "big moves" last year with Tarasenko + Kane and it got us nowhere. The cohesiveness and balance was way off. This year he made really savy moves to bring in Wennberg thats anchored that third line. Rosolovic helped reignite Mika and Kreider, who were in a slumber at that time, and then sured up the defensive depth with Ruhwedel in case someone on the right side went down. No major assets surrendered and patched up every hole. I struggle to see how he could have had a better deadline. I guess Guentzel is the name everyone would point to. Do we know if he would have meshed with Mika and Kreider the same way Roslovic has? There wasn't a game changing defenseman on the market that we could make work cap-wise. Again, I think Drury handled the deadline stupendously.

When was the last time Drury publicly spoke? Don’t remember him having availability after the Devils series or before the season started. I could be wrong tho
He addressed the media two years ago when we made the ECF, addressed the media for Laviolette's hiring, and I believe took calls after the trade deadline.
A better question would be - When was the last time Drury smiled?
he does conference calls. rarely goes in front of the camera
He introduced Lav when he became coach and started off his first interview
He always said that he wants the coaching staff and the players to be heard

When they win the cup, Igor should get the Conn Smythe trophy, Drury should be runner-up. They've got a forward line and defense pair as healthy scratches every game ready to step in.

It's funny, and I guess this is exclusive to sports, but the way nick names are used. Chris refers to the coach as Lavi instead of Peter. You think its a business but certainly the friendly relationships are game like friends. LGR!
He's been called that lavi as his name is long and it's a shorter version. Just like Deb instead of deborah
The real challenge for Chytil and the others is, who is game ready? Other than Rempe, I dont feel Chytil and Wheeler are up to speed for game challenges and as such, they will only play if there are injuries.

wheeler should not come back for this series...he is not conditioned for the playoffs and was a weak link on the first line when he played
Drills they work on is to stay active...there are no magic drills. Nhl teams did drills Russians did in 60s and 70s and it did ZERO.
Odds to win cup draft kings 2024, Florida +220, Dallas+260, Edmonton +280, NYR +400. Models and different stats have a big say on these odds. Can't remember a,presidents trophy winning team in final 4 not being the favorites, but here you have it. Huge difference between Florida or Dallas and nyr...Florida is a series favs, small vs nyr.
Don't forget Carolina was favored over the Rangers too, numbers don't tell the whole story but I'd rather have NYR in the underdog role so i'm not complaining
@johnlips2399 carolina,had a 57 to 60 percent chance to win the series, not 100. I understand odds very very well. Florida,has a much better chance to win cup then nyr. Florida is +220 and nyr +400 to win cup....100 on each is either a 220 profit or 400 . From a value standpoint, nyr are it. But, not being the favorite catches up to a team sooner or later..often. example, can a 9 and 7 or 10 and 6 team win super bowl? Sure...it happens very few times. I'm talking 16 game schedules.

Sorry to say, but Trouba stinks and should not be the captain. If he turns the puck over as much as he has in the playoffs, especially in front of Igor that leads to opponent goals, Florida will pounce (pun intended) on every opportunity. He has caused the Rangers dearly and was on the ice for 8 consecutive opponent goals. He slow and out of his element compared to these top teams. Drop him down to the fourth d-line and get rid of him in the off-season. Kreider or Trocheck can be the next captain. Otherwise, LET'S GO RANGERS!
What is great about this coaching staff and management is the championship mindset and culture they have built. That is what makes a coach great as opposed to really good. I haven't seen this type of culture since '94 and we know what happened then! Excited for this next round, LGR!
