I got to pick up my RP U-12 at the factory.Del,Dixie,and Mike showed me around,and were as hospitable as could be.They even had a look at my other Mullen-a frame-and-a-half S-10 3X3 and authenticated it to either 1971 or '75.Great folks,great guitars!

I have a variety of pedal steels and used several others over the past. Bought a new Mullen D10 8x4 in 93. Still own it. Best guitar I've ever played. Looking for a lightweight S10 and it will be a Mullen. Smooth as silk action and tone to the bone.

Great guitars, but saying they are the #1 guitar in the world is a strange claim when the majority of steel you hear on the radio comes from a Show Pro or Franklin. Live... it's still Emmons, Sho Bud, and a whole lot of other guitars that I see way more than Mullens. Hey but what do I know...
I love my G2, my friend brought one back from Dallas, I sat behind her, played a few chords and fell in love. Bought her that day. If we get a Free Trade deal from President Trump I'll be ordering another one.
Tommy White is a good player but Dave Hartley from England is as good as it gets. Check out Dave here on UA-cam. Greatest of all time.

I agree with you. The David Hartley and John Stannard material was the best. David has a beautiful heart. How else could such beautiful music come out of him? A number of other players may have more theory, better technique, but they have a blackness to their heart. That is why not much beautiful music comes out of them. David’s music is happy, cheerful, and uplifting. I wish he would put together a complete course of lessons. Yes, David Hartley is my favorite pedal steel guitar player. Also, he plays in the traditional country style I love. I do not dig the modern styles of too many pedals and the use of distortion.

I agree with you that you agree with him but I don't think Dave's wife cant sing worth a hoot and he's too caught up in her wanting to become a big star that he's forgot about his own talent and quit posting videos. It was a lot better when John was alive and before she came along.

Looked at Mullens in the 80s Del was not very nice to me like my questions bothered him bought. a Franklin...
The fretboard markers are too ugly. My favorite was the Rains fretboards the middle one. Rain had a hard multicolored fretboard, then a softened colored fretboard which I prefer, then the Gary Carpenter red and white fretboard markers. Is Mullen the descendant of the men who tried to steal Abraham Lincoln’s corpse? The old man is a Christian, so that is a good thing. Prices are too high. Subcontract to Indonesia, please.
You've been working on Tommy White guitar for 5 months ? I know you said it had to be perfect but I always thought you build all guitar perfect . So Tommy White gets special attention on his guitar ?
