Thanks for this video! It was really helpful. I planted some black bamboo in a horse trough last spring. They’re around 3’ now, very full & fluffy too. Do you think it’s too soon to cut some of it out and transplant some into another horse trough -outside? (I’m in Austin). Or should I bring them inside & put them in smaller pots (like your video) for the winter? Only 5 more years & we won’t have to look at our neighbors bathroom window anymore.
@@PlayingwithPlants Thanks for responding! I’m in Zone 8. I don’t know for sure, but I think there isn’t any difference in black bamboo besides the color of the stalk.

I'm not real familiar with black bamboo also what growing zone are you in

It should be fine outside I'm in the cold part of zone 7 you may put some mulch or straw on and around it just to be a little safer
