- In this video I Ankur Choudhary describe and provide information about vinyl plank flooring
PVC wooden planks The shades and designs are carefully chosen to complement the natural wood. Manufactured with multi-layer technology, this premium flooring is highly suitable to handle heavy footfalls. The PUR protection layer ensures trouble free performance and enhance durability. It reduces the noise impact, is trendy, quick to install, easy to use and maintenance free. Finally, vinyl plank is termite resistant, moisture resistant & fire resistant. vinyl planks are recommended for hotels, stores, malls, cafeteria, schools, banks, homes, offices etc.
RECOMMENDATION FOR INSTALLATION
vinyl planks must be allowed to relax for 24 hours in room temperature between 18°C and 27°C prior to installation. Vinyl planks are suitable for laying on any surface such as concrete, steel wooden floors etc. provided the sub-floor is even, hard and dry. Damp floors should be dried before the commencement of laying. Before installation, the base floor must be thoroughly clean, dry and free from grease & grit. recommends use of Fevicol SR 998, Fevicol SR 505 or any other equivalent rubber/acrylic based adhesive of similar type.
MAINTENANCE
1) Do's: After laying of flooring, the surface should be cleaned daily with damp mop and weekly or fortnightly with soap solution
2) Prevent point load indentation by covering your furniture legs with rubber stopper caps
3) To remove stubborn stains, rub the affected area immediately with a soft coir brush or fine steel wool soaked in a warm soap solution
4) Scuff marks on the floor can be removed with little application of diesel. 5) Use door coir or suitable mats to minimize accumulation of dust on vinyl flooring
6) Use water to remove any chemical spill on flooring.
Don'ts: Do not use any strong detergent, harsh cleaning agent or dry steel wool Throwing of lighted cigarette butts or match sticks on the floor should be avoided as it could lead to burn marks on the floor. Do not drag any heavy object or furniture on the flooring to avoid scratches on the floor.

Nicely presented. I have a query where I wanted to replace the existing vinyl flooring due to damage. However the challenge is with the presence of immovable objects like wardrobe, can I get the new vinyl flooring dobe without beading near to immovable objects (where the previous vinyl would have to be cut)?

@@perfectfloor Thanks for getting back to me promptly. There is a bit of correction- Original flooring is wooden floor and not vinyl as l mentioned earlier. So we could still use LVT flooring as you suggested?

@@perfectfloor I surveyed in local market of Faridabad and the shopkeepers tell that a thickness of minimum 1.3mm and above can be installed with SR 998.
Mine is a roof/terrace of 1800sq feet including parapet boundaries.

@@perfectfloor Yes Sir, I understand. Fading of the colour and design is not my concern as I am totally aware and already mentally prepared that it will go within 2-3 months of installation since it's exposed to sunlight and rain.
I'm just worried about the durability of the sheet and gum.
