The first match i played with these settings I was the kill leader with 8 kills. I just felt so confident. It has never happend to me before because my max kills before that was 3. Thank you so much keep making good vids.

A tip for normal people, adjust these settings to fit you, if the settings don't feel good then modify them to your hands.
Also a tip for normal people: just use 4-3 linear

Honestly District what I've noticed is that the AlC are different for almost every player so others should really understand what all the alc's are and get to the range and and fine tune till they feel comfortable

Good job District.The outer threshold is the threshold that you breach before your remote detects that you are doing maximum input.
Dont forget to tell them that their FoV affects their aim as well and that before they adjust their settings they need to set the fov.Only screens that are 50 inches or more should be set to 110.smaller should have less.43 inch should be 102-106 etc.If your settings feel really good, change your fov and youll see what im talking about.Max fov on an smaller screen makes enemies MUCH smaller and harder to see.Make it where you can see the center dummy from where the sand meets the center platform at the bottom of the hill.
So 43 inch tv here which one 102 or 106 fov
106 and 104 are goated
Just came back to apex. Started changing my old settings and im right on time. Using a elite and a evil controller but on xbox you can change the settings of your deadzone etc in the accessories in settings but it's just with the elite 2

I kind of understood the Alcs settings through the years of playing and trial and error but watching this video got me a better understanding of the settings. You can make the settings almost to what you want just have to mess around and once you find that sweet spot then it’s the tuning. Your explanation on the ramp up time for both looking and aiming are spot. There’s no such thing as perfect settings it’s all personal preference.

So I was wondering this , when you set your controller to ALC does it always have a starting preset ? Or do the values get changed based on your default settings ? Like if I play on 4 look and 3 aiming once I turn on alc will it have values based off that ? Or does it always start the same ? Thanks again cause I o wanted to barely just tweak my dead zone and leave the regular settings
so the DEFAULT ALC is matched to be the DEFAULT regular settings. if you look for the little vertical lines on all the settings in ALC thats the Default setting. when you change your regular settings it wont effect ALC and same with ALC not effecting the default
im different from people im a console player but im to poor to afford a pc. I want mnk for apex which isnt possible so i play with maxed out sens so it feels like mnk i just wanna know if its dumb or not to play with maxed out sens on controller?

Is 2% dead zone good or is it too high
A few tweaks here and there but honestly these settings are pretty high standard especially the ads settings they really do give you real nice control of your aim

Try 3 2 linear i think that's what i used to use on switch
Yo that is by far the coolest car skin I ever seen
you can use the controller curser to fine tune settings on console
On console you can fine tune it the same way you can on PC but you have to use your stick and click the x if your on PlayStation to move it to where the curser is I don't know the button on x box for it but you can do it on console

I have my outer threshold at 30 so my hip fire feels better, I find awesome settings until I realize it messes with other situations its been hard to find a happy place for the hip fire and ads because if you move the threshold or response curve it effects both

Aye! If you are watching this video you’re in the right place. I’ve played since the game released and I’ve never hit 3K damage. I watched this video a few days ago and tonight I finally hit 3k. I won the match with 10 kills 3331 damage with Spitfire, Kraber, and Prowler. You are the Fkin man District. Much Much Love.
(Pro Tip: I did exactly what District did but I lowered the Yaw and Pitch just a tad because I’m not district. Noticed I have a little bit of a stick drift when idle but it seems to be a boost when turning corners and strafing)
Do you play alc yourself? Why do all the pros mainly play 4-3 non Deadzone without alc? Is it true that the aimassist is better? That's the only reason I've read about it. Would you rather recommend alc or 4-3 non dz
14:16 - you can fine tune on console, but its best to set slowest cursor speed and then try, but it works the same, its just hard.

I'm the very low percentage that's obsessed with apex but not a content creator, and I love to mess around with Alc's because that makeS apex more fun for me. I have gotten to the point where I think i may have the most sensetive settings I can find on the internet because I use a Hall Effect thumbstick controller (gamesir T4 kaleid) that has almost 0 stick drift from the factory, and when I see anyone not using 0 dead zone I feel like they're missing out so much i personally think it's one of the most important settings ever to get down to 0. And when you use it with 0 response curve recoil becomes almost ellimatened just by feating the thumbstick. It's a great feeling
fr. ive had a fusion 3 for 4 months and still have no stickdrift on no deadzone and it feels so good
Hey, so i tried to use the alc settings you did in the last video, they are good for aiming but when rotating i have a spot that rotates alot slower than the normal turning speed. Doesnt happen on default setting just alc. What would cause that?
Tbh I'm not sure what would cause that. In that video he has the ramp up n delay stuff on 0.
Its at brand new controller...it only happens on alc...tried messing with response curve and no luck...it just has a deadspot when turning for no reason

If you have your pitch speed the same as your yaw speed your aim is going to be going up and down all over the place if you try to adjust for the recoil tho?

District I just whanted to add that per options settings in ALC and the standard per optic settings stack on pc
Also if your controller have customisable deadzones they also stack on top of each other
Edit: respawn have patched the per optic stack bug
Did not know that. I play on Ps5 with the new Duel sense Edge controller going to check that out I think I have them at default. Thank you for that.

I was stuck for my first 400h of apex until I started breaking down everything I could improve, and only after that did I start constantly get better. Look at your posture, look at your mouse, look at your mouse pad, look at the way you exercise... "is my arm too low or too high" "is my mouse too heavy for my sens" "is there too much friction between my mousepad and mouse" "do I step out of my comfort zone while exercising" "do I exercise enough" "am I having bad habits with my grip". hope this helps :)

Don’t know many pros that use ALC’s. Seems to me that 4-3 Linear, or 4-4 classic would just be the wave. Albeit you’ve spent more time on the game, would it not be more beneficial to focus on gameplay itself than settings than are so hard to dial in?
43 linear no deadzone is better than any alc
@@oce_triangular6618 no or small dead zone, 4-3 linear is the best I think. I like help this channel gives people, but it’s shit like this that hurts new players more than it helps.
@@Jordan2SK yeah for sure. I was on ALC and they made me worse. My movement was better but my aim was bad but when i went back to 4 3 linear i became much better. Small deadzone is good, but no deadzone you have 100 percent control of your aim and you can make micro adjustments.

I play on an 8% dead zone because it makes my aim assist stick better but it’s also responsive enough with my 1% response curve. It’s similar to the 4 look and 3 ADS with linear small dead zone.

Good tip for you guys.. what more important than slow or high sens is ratio between hipfire and ads. Yes! My ratio is 2:1 i can play both high or low sens change everytime as long as the ratio is the same its easier to get use to any low or high
I can do as low as 220,220,110,110 or as high as 400,400,200,200. But i decide to be in between which is 280,280,140,140. Perfect !!!!
Nothing seems to work for me, i just get worse the more i use a sens & lowering the dead zone by 1 fixes my sudden regression, im out of deadzones to lower 💀

On xbox you can drag the values by clicking and holding them and using your left stick to adjust them. I just found that out while trying to adjust my settings during this video

I have a standard xbox controller on xbox s series. I am on Classic 4 3 with no deadzone. Doesnt feel very smooth, and linear is a little quick for me. Any advice please? I have been on controller for a few months now as I was a mouse and keyboard player. Console now

Remember that P.C settings are not the same as console settings. So with that being said. If you play on console it won’t be the same as P.C settings.

Yes It actually does, if you use ALC you basically have a to have a damn good aim and you’re doing all the aiming manually

Why do some people play with melee assist off?
For movement, u dont get that slow down from hovering enemies when u put up your gun

That melee assist is for when you try to really melee your target, (doesn't metter if the gun is holstered or not) if you don't melee, you don't get that assist at all
And there is a difference between melee while on the ground vs when you're on the air, like jumping and melee or (whatever reason you're in the air and try to melee) from a jumppad, horizon lift, you get more melee assist while in the air and less assist while on the ground
Melee assist while on the air is strong
Melee assist while on the ground is weak(it was the same, but now is nerfed)
Go to the range and try both just to get used to it

Hey District, I noticed I play better with my movement deadzone at Large, but all you guys always have it at small. Why is that?

I think the dualsense edge have some respons curves wich you can edit right i belive thata why
I have fiddled around on a lot of controllers in their own softwares
Im especially fond of the thrustmaster eswap rn you can even make the controller fully linear
Although its reccomended to have like small movements 33% medium 33% big 34%

If you playing on xbox or with an ex box controller then is not you is your controller. All xbox controllers are made with 20% joystick deadzone and you CAN'T change it. games are literally unplayable with the new Xbox series x controllers and I think they did this on purpose because they want you to buy the new Xbox elite controller $150+ . Don't believe me, ask about this in the Xbox community forum and this is the only answer your going to get for the devs "The new elite controller let's you change the deadzone, all others Xbox controllers don't have this option" So if you just bought the new Xbox than you are SOL out of the box 😂😂

You’re not alone my man!! I think it’s just the skill gap in this game. The people that play it are demons. It’s such a hard game that the casuals fade out and the people left consistently playing are the sweats that are either already really good, or determined to play until they are really good. It’s frustrating and addicting all at the same time!
I have just the basic dualshock ps4 controller and idk if I'm doing it wrong or something wrong but everything just seems so different than you are explaining 🫣
