That Nestorianism is a heresy is true. However, the great patristic theologian of the 20th century, Cardinal Alois Grillmeier, while agreeing that Nestorianism is a heresy, he declared that there is no evidence that Nestorios ever believed such a thing. The Bishop of Alexandria, Cyril, had misunderstood Nestorios, and accused him before the Pope and the Council. Nestorios went into exile in Egypt. The eastern Bishops agreed that Nestorios had been falsely accused and defended him. But they also never believed in the premises of Bestorianism.

Didn't clear up really anything. I feel it would make more sense showing the Bishop shoe his heretical position, rather than having some random 3rd party state basically the same you said. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Bishop Mar Mari is in the hospital recovering right now and you guys are worrying about terms that you don’t understand, their is greater depth in how they articulate the 2 natures of Christ that people struggle to understand and that’s fair but don’t rush to say something about him that you don’t know the greater depth in what he’s church actually teach. He’s a bishop in the Assyrian Orthodox Church what do you guys really think he’s position is going to be. And he doesn’t deny Blessed mother the way u guys think he does, he loves her and honor in the way that he should, the terminology he use it’s fair to say that he should call her theotokos but he still doesn’t deny her, he acknowledge everything about her, may not use the same language as the catholic church does but he still acknowledge these things, the philosophical depth can get pretty tricky so please before you guys point fingers instead of asking Christian’s to pray for his recovery try learning the depth in why says what he says
