Would like to point out your old one is a Straight grindr and the 2 new ones are 90° grinders. 90° grinders have an extra gear box to change direction wich will create more sound. It's still a great test but not 100% fair
Yep… I bought that same Central Pneumatic angle die grinder and it didn’t work, it just leaked, took it back, swapped it, same issue, went back again and opened up all of them and they all looked defective, the adjustment screw was backed all the way out (2nd one I adjusted it in at home and it didn’t stop the leaking) on all of them. I explained the issue to the manager, we went to the back of the store and tried two of them on their air compressor and they both leaked after being plugged in. He gave me a nice discount on the exact $50 Chief angled die grinder that you also have, that one works great 😎
I agree, I have no complaints at all with the Cheif one. In fact, I went out and purchased a few more whenever they were on sale. That way I don't have to keep changing out accessories.
@@firebladex8586 You don’t have to spend $85 though, the $50 Chief angle grinder is really nice and works great. I have the straight Central Pneumatic die grinder that was like $10 it works great as well! It worked so good I went back to buy the angle version of it and every one of them was defective… so I “upgraded” to the $50 Chief. I know, $10 for a die grinder is hilariously cheap (so is $50) but.. one of them works great! The $50 Chief angle grinder is awesome as well, seriously, check it out. Also, check out the UA-cam channel “Torque Test Channel” they tested some of the Chief air tools too and liked ‘em.
