I just love hearing this man speak. Someone get him on a 5 hour podcast and just let him get everything off his chest. Music, albums he loves, specific moments in songs, movies, tv shows, colours, lakes, food, vehicles,... Just let him speak. Also Mark is cool as fuck.
Continuing the pfp appreciation 👌🏽 But yeah, I always love hearing Tyler geek out about artists, it’s the same as when I think or talk about the qualities of his art I find great and super creative
he never let that kid spirit die . Lot of people die when they get that corp job or go to school for PHD etc . they die in their 20s bcuz of pressure from certain peers and parents to compete with them or make them happy. NOBODY MATTERS BUT YOU . THEY DIE SUPER YOUNG but don't get buried til they're old .
tyler embodies 'The Little Prince' mindset of never letting his inner kid die even as he grows older. i think we could all learn a thing or two from him.
Dude is literally living the memoir of his life. He's gonna have so many physical things he can look back on and remember how and when he first came up with the idea and how he brought it to fruition.
I’m not a Tyler fan. Never watched an interview of him before. Saw this randomly on my recommended. Watched it, and gained a whole new appreciation for Tyler The Creator. I know I’m late but I am now a fan. This is what an interview is supposed to do.
the FACT that the Le Fleur Store started off from a small little sketch in his notebook and manifested into a real clothing store is beautiful. Everything starts off with a idea. Tyler really manifests and creates his dream life and it motivates me to do the same. Manifesting ideas and desires into reality at its finest!!
Tyler putting his glasses on and then immediately taking them off reminds me that he’s still Tyler under being the wildly successful fucking genius he is today
I came into contact with Tyler and odd future, back in 2009/10ish when i was in eighth grade. I was fortunate enough to have a friend whose dad owned a fruit produce store, few stores down from the first ODD future store with the donut front. At first I had no idea who this dude was and after the first interaction i was a fan. He really liked detail and it was cool and the conversation he could have with someone who isn’t even on his level is admirable. Fast forward a year from then. I became engulfed with odd future and what not. Been to all the carnivals since the first one. And watching this man grow into who he is today is a real wow moment. Like damn. Man bought me fat burger back in 2013 because i wasted all my money on a taxi to see the release of wolf. Point is, I hope that one day the newer kid generation can experience that feeling i did. It’s so cool seeing someone grow man lol. Seeing your own ideas spread because someone like this man was able to turn on a switch at a young age and boom now we here. Keep going T. We still need finish the “my neck my back” karoke shit that you had poppin lol.
seeing Tyler from what he is to what he’s turning into/become is kinda like seeing a kid mature, get older and evolve in every aspect of his life. he’s always doing something and keeping busy and it’s always fun to see what he’s doing next, big inspiration for me, always a treat to hear him speak and listen about his projects and inspiration.
i love how passionate he is for his work. the grammy performances (around 17:40 ish) really showed me that. he tells the cameramen to stop cutting to random people so much and just focus on tyler’s performance and when they do so, the kind of energy we get is more distinct and nuanced than looking at some guy’s reaction
the way he talks abt Virgil I had a very similar experience and feeling when i lost my dad and i graduated middle school a year later and all I wanted was for him to just be there and I ended up winning an iPad for a reward of overcoming adversity (his death) and keeping my grades up, that alone just makes it feel like he was there.
the way he clearly is in the middle of yet another thing hes executing, with truly no ceiling, knowing his limits, and giving time to this interviewer like its nothing, giving such clear honest answers. no worries just authenticity through. man adds colours to my worldview. inspiration. makes me feel like i can be like him. like i can have my own vision, execute my own shit, trust in my own life and where it'll take me, despite my hurdles (cuz he gotta have some too hes overcame/coming)
Imagine deleting social media for a couple months, then watching this and hearing T say how he wished Virgil could be there. Now you're scared and confused, so you google Virgils name and see he died a month ago on your birthday.... That shit was not ok. I will work my ass off the rest of my life, knowing what Virgil kept pushing hard, even after his diagnosis. Rest In Power, King of Modernism
I’m so happy that Tyler was asked about Run It Up, that is one of my favorite songs on the album for the reason that he is speaking directly to us and inspiring us to see clear when the light is dim fr
Tyler has always been the one who would inspire me to try new things like foods or clothes. Like I’m into loafers and cardigans and shit and I’m always so used to wearing sneakers and jeans but T was the one who REALLY opened my bubble and I thank him for it 🙏🐝
I love his mind, I feel like he knows what he wants and he knows how he wants things done and he does it and for me I don’t know how to do it but I feel like if I ever got blessed enough to have a conversation with this man he’d understand thoughts nobody else would and every single interview he inspires me and opens my mind up just a bit more and I’m so grateful for this man omg
i am no tyler enthusiast, however, this new era that he’s starting to indulge in is amazing to watch. listening to the way that he works and creates is so cool. i can’t wait to see him keep evolving
I just love his growth as a person and as a artist. I’ve been rocking with him since 2012. I’m 25 and Tyler is 30. It’s like we grew up together. I was the weird black girl and see someone just as weird and wasn’t typical was refreshing. I loved Pharrell growing up too and songs with chords/beautiful melodies from old to new songs. People would call me old and weird because I loved all different types of music. Anyway, im with you Tyler until the end. 🙌🏾
Tyler truly is a CREATOR. I love how is able to draw his image he wants to bring to life, then actually brings it to life! It kinda reminds me of what I want to do, wanting in the future to be a designer, that is what we have to do all day, which I love❤️
the way he puts his all in every job he proposes to do is beautiful to see. inspiring. "The Creator" really suits the person he is. It all sounds so unique. I don't know if I made it clear enough how much I love his work and art. This guy deserves everything he's been achieving :) very, very good.
I love his crazy side too, but seeing him so mature is so cool. He’s really a visionary in every way and i love him so much. You never really know what to expect from him in terms of what he’s gonna make or do next and thats the beauty of him

I'm really glad that Tyler is saying what he is saying especially about Virgil vibing with everyone... Its such a hard concept for most people to grasp. I feel like we are so inclined to just hate on each other or just in general be dismissive of other's views (and to be fair, it's almost understandable because not everyone has good intentions but still)
I would give anything to meet Tyler, he is such an inspiration creatively, spiritually, and is so incredibly authentic. He has always been a breath of fresh air. There’s no one like him 🤍
It is April 27 2022, here in Chicago at 4:30 pm, 37 degrees with a wind chill of 28 degrees. I lived in Arizona and California, born and raised here in Chicago. I can’t stand not having four seasons. But right now, I’m f’n freezing.
i feel having his name end in “the creator” is so fitting for him tho cause he really is THE creator. man’s created so many things from clothing to accessories, nail polish and fragrance. he created like an entire genre of music, he’s created tv shows. like man is THE creator.
its so crazy listening to Tyler talk now... you can just feel the confidence in what hes doing and how much hes grown... i feel like a proud brother rn lol

I bought all the gear, the music, the clothes, and finally went to see him when he toured with A$AP Rocky. I simply cannot believe how he went from underground, mainstream unfriendly, wild rapper to national treasure and LGBT icon. In 10 years, I hope he’s evolved even more as an artist and entrepreneur.
3:07 this segment sparked an idea for a collaborative album. An album co-produced by Tyler and alchemist with Tyler and larry June rapping throughout the album. With features from vince staples, Anderson paak, Navy blue, MIKE, and many more. Oh, and I'd love to hear what tyler and Larry would sound like on a song together produced by Terrace Martin.
