It's nice to see someone who doesn't wax poetic about every single product. Most products are exactly what you say, just ok. Also appreciate that you discuss how much you get in a product. Really helps us make informed purchases! ❤
I think this is one of my favorite videos I’ve ever seen you do. I loved your honesty and you were funny and I do understand the reference about kids eating cereal with cereal breath 😅
Please don't change; there are so many influencers who are hyping products and then have a shopping list for us to buy them and they make money. You provide enjoyable content and I learn. I only watch you because i have limited time and you are not annoying. Again - stay exactly as you are
I don't mind them making a bit of money, as we also get a discount using their codes, as long as they give Honest opinions of the products and point out the good and bad points of it (after all, not everything works for everyone in the same way, so they really should all say 'it worked/didn't work For Me Because...." When they do that, I'm more inclined to believe them.)👍
Mandy. I really appreciate your honesty about product amounts, costs and scams. No other youtuber I've seen does this. Please don't stop. Not enough women are thinking about their purchases. I think 75% of products are simply scams. And don't feel odd about not liking a product other influencers rave about. We all need to remember that they are getting PAID to love those products. I think Elf puts more investment into influencers than any other comapny. Ive tried so many of their products and they are all awful. You are always correct in your assessment. Example: those ND palettes are highly redundant. Please keep bringing us the truth.
Yes Mandy, it is illegal to put a weight on a product and then be under it, companies are getting caught and fined for it quite often though.. but usually in food products😅..... I think its just because its a simple tube and not thick fake packaging....👍👍 I'd love to try the LYS foundation, but if it's $25 in USA it will be $50 in Australia and the Hourglass singles are $75 each, I think it was $180¿ for the Hourglass x6 set, so I wouldn't mind it... and its cheap for you over there, really for x6 pieces, great travel set.. 👍
Agree with you about the undereye patches. I have some Pixi ones and it's taking me ages to get through the pot as I never have enough time to use them. I do like them though. Emma x
Thank you so much for your honesty. I buy too much hyped makeup and skincare. I also live Korean skincare but nothing is magical. As for packaging I loved the Nars Light Reflecting foundation and loved it but the bottle and pump was a mess. The foundation leaks everywhere. I would never buy it again. Thank you for your honest reviews. It makes me much more likely to take your recommendations. Lots of the hyped makeup is just “meh”!
I just wanted to share what I learned from Angie Hot n Flashy several years ago... I got the Timeless Vitamin C as she recommended it.. and it does work on my melasma, tremendously!😊💛🙌🏻 that one comes in an air less pump because air & light effect Vitamin C serums. I've learned that if it has turned yellow, it's no longer effective. It should be clear... however, it does have that "hot dog water" smell.. but by the time you apply the serum you can't smell it. Timeless is also very affordable!🥰❤💄💋 Great video!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
She just mentioned that vitamin c serum too and said it was yellowish already so I’m sticking to my timeless that stays clear or just pale yellow by the time I run out of the bottle.
I really like Derma E vitamin C works with face creams and primers. Have you tried Ensley cold moon palette? I think you would love it. It's a little $$ but the colors are so pretty and so nice. It was on my list, I finally got it and I was so HAPPY that I did!!!! I'm beginning to think that Indie brands are so much nicer than the mainstream.
I think the reason for the funny smell of the CosRX vitamin C serum is that it contains ascorbic acid, which is most effective the form of topical vitamin C (as far as the research shows). This is the form of vitamin C that's in the SkinCeuticals, Timeless, Prequel etc. serums. They all smell funny--some people describe it as "hot dog water" smell. Don't be put off by it; as long as your skin isn't irritated by it, it's definitely worth using, especially given that hyperpigmentation is one of your frequently-mentioned skin concerns.
I agree, you don’t need both ND palettes because honestly once I found out the Golden was a remake of the Gold palette but w/o the greens I decided to get the I need a Warm palette and love it. I’m happy with that decision since I already have the Gold Palette and love it.
I think Golden vs INAW preference has a lot to do with skin tone and undertone. I'm a light cool pink and seeing swatches and looks with Golden made me think it's way too yellow for me.
NOTE: I found the video I'm asking about. Which shade number is your Handaiyan Face Trio please and is there a video of you using it? Thank you for your honest reviews and opinions 🤗
I feel like the Hourglass blushes are just like the Milani baked blushes. Which are amazing. I tried an Hourglass bronzer one time... i gave it away. It was glitter city. I don't want glitter on my face. I'll stick with the L'oreal bronzer. Don't feel bad about not being hyped up about products. It makes you trustworthy.
Maybe just take the eye patches and rub them over your whole face to get the serum out of them. I've done it with them and it works just fine. Your hair is just so incredibly beautiful!!! I love curls and don't have a single one😢❤❤
I think if you want an hourglass and you want to try all their setting powder bronzer and blush this year they came out with a quad which is great because the sticks are so damn expensive and I don't use like three of the shades out of six that I bought I think two or three years ago Haley is the Motown blush which ends up looking pink somehow on me anyways
I would recommend that you focus a bit more on formula and finishes rather than judging solely on the costs and USD/oz etc. this is becoming a bit annoying.. while I understand that people are on a budget, every individual should judge for themselves if they want to spend their money on a product, but based on finishes and formulas rather than your judgement if you would spend the money or not. I have a feeling that you solely judge a product based on money.
How is it that all foundations are always exactly the same 30 ml regardless of the brand or country they are from, but concealers are all different. It does not make sense.
Oh, my goodness, I thought that I was the only one who gets sick to my stomach if I'm looking at something that's overpriced. That's why I don't step foot in Sephora. Even looking at Christmas things sometimes makes me sick to my stomach.
Mandy, I think it’s time for you to take a break from make up videos. It doesn’t seem like you like it much at all anymore. Are used to love your videos.
In a day and time where everything is so pricey, their products should be worth the money. I appreciate her honesty. Most influencers hype up high-end and bash drugstore brands when I purchase a high-end, and it's just meh, it really makes me mad. She is not complaining she is being honest, especially considering the pricing.
I have been following you for quite some time and I could be wrong… but I’m going to say it…do you enjoy makeup anymore? To my disappointment, it seems you’ve become very negative when you share and review most products. I’m older than you, so I don’t think it’s age. I think you’ve lost your excitement and love for all the beautiful products out there. 😢 Being honest is one thing, being a drag is another. Not everybody out here wants to buy $4-$10 drugstore make up.
I disagree. I think a realistic, budget-conscious approach is useful for many people and different from other creators. Mandy has her own niche, and I appreciate it.
@@xtyrasage A realistic budget I completely agree with! My observation regarding Mandy is If you go back a few years and watch her videos, she had such excitement and now she doesn’t. Hourglass is the most pure product out there, so of course you will pay for that. @@Cheeky63 I get what you're saying. I relate more to the feeling you described in your last couple of sentences right now though. After I started watching beauty UA-cam (around 2018) I went through a period of really excessive purchasing. Still go on a bit of a binge now and then. Now that I have so much, I do feel some regret. Not only about how I've spent my own money, but about the waste of so many disposable plastic products being churned out. Using makeup still brings me joy. Buying, not so much. Unless it's a product I know I'll enjoy in both quality and color, like ND INAN ❤️ no regrets about that one!
Love that you are taking the time to point out that things are fine but just not awesome - it's refreshing to not hear so much overhype.

Kinda nice hearing true thoughts on things instead of everything being holy grails. I can’t stand watching someone that says everything is amazing.

I totally get the "kid cereal breath"! 😂
What colour do you have on your líps? It is beautiful .
I will take the palette!! I would not spend that much on any make-up.
The cereal breath. Yes. I am familiar. 😂
The physician formula mascara was so dry as a brand new tube for me… I used it twice and throw away.
Why is that cream blush component so big when there is hardly any blush in it
